The Royals and Interracial Relationships and Marriages.

Well, we all know the Royal Wedding is only hours away. I was asking myself the last few days what if one of the British royals had a interracial relationship or marriage?

Honestly, I kinda doubt a non-white marrying into the royal family would be accepted. There had been reports that Prince Phillip( Queen Elizabeth's husband) is a racist. One of the conspiracies behind Diana's death is Phillip had her killed because at the time she was dating an egyptian and there were rumors of her being pregnant with his child(which were untrue). They said he didn't want a mixed baby to be the future sibling of the King of England.

Let's say Prince Harry had a relationship with a black woman and he married her. I don't think she would be treated well. The royal family didn't treat his mother Diana well. She would be heavily scrutinze by the media and other folks saying she may be a gold digger because of her ethnicity. Hell, they scrutinze Kate Middleton because she was a commoner. Some people might be against it. I mean can you a imagine a black woman(or any non-white woman) to poetentially be the Queen of England? What about same sex relationships and marriages? Can you imagine that?

On the other hand, I also think it would be great if it happened though. It would show the RF moving with the times and breaking away from tradition.

If it happens, it won't be within my lifetime. I wish I could say different, but I don't see it happening any time soon. I do think there is a bit of prejudice in that respect, however...having said that, perhaps there are only white people in the family (married in to the family, I mean) because they just don't get the opportunity to mix with anyone except white people, for any length of time? It could be that no one in the family has really been attracted to anyone who wasn't white...yet.

Can't really say much about their character since no one knows them personally. Prince Phillip doesn't have the best reputation though.

I highly doubt it! It is only in recent years that they have stopped interbreeding with eachother.. Catholics arn't even allowed to marry into the family.

It makes me laugh because they are trying to convince us they are all modern now that they have allowed a "commoner" (btw Kate Middleton is from a very wealthy family) to marry William.

Well, with a name like "ThePrince" on a site called "whitewomenblackmen", the notion of "royals" marrying "interracially" really hits "close to home", and the fact "theprince" really loves "whitewomen" makes an interracial royal engagement inevitable.
