Women who are gifted with beauty understands the power they have in using that beauty for advantage. Their egos reaches to the moon. Their power to wield and manipulate is legendary. Much can be said of this of all women, but those who have the gift of beauty are especially of interest to me because increasingly women are advancing into important positions of power. With intelligence thrown in there, you have what amounts to be formidable personal power and influence. What must men today be aware of in their own defense in interpersonal relations with such women in power?

MOST beautiful women of "power" are like Sarah Palin. Beauty queen, has the looks down pat but never had to really "work" to get were she is. Sarah was fine until she opened her mouth and this woman was ALMOST one step away from the presidency.

There were Republican women far more ready to be vice-president than she was but looks can take you far.

 

So to be beautiful, or to be brainy, that is the question??

The stereotype says that blonds are brainless, but lately I found out that there's a stereotype that says big breasted women are brainless. There's another that says all beauties are brainless.

So I guess that a brainy woman would be plain Jane, brunette, and must have a breast size no larger than a AA. Nothing said about general weight so I'll say she may weigh up to 300 lbs and there is no need for wearing makeup. :smt024

Blond's are suffering from racism, Blond's were viewed as the purist of the white race, and the most sacred possession a man has is his woman. So blond's had a free pass, looks was all they, needed but not in today's world. There is only so much showboating and sexing a person can do after that it gets tired, well for me at least, Brains wins all the time.

I'm not sure if it's ok to be brainy at all, I think the subclause (both for men and women) in a partner is "brainy, but not smarter then me"... I know I think so sometimes, and I know a lot of my male friends thinks so too.. It's probably just human nature not wanting to be outwitted by the person you hold dearest.

 

Well, as a well spoken brainiac, I think I can say now (at the ripe age of 45) I prefer a man who is wiser than I. Maybe not brainier, just wiser, if he is brainier, then I'll handle it, I just don't want to argue a lot, but some challenging conversation is always good.

I want him to be wiser, because I find I've made a lot of foolish decisions in my life, and I try very hard to make wise ones now, and I find it very, very difficult. It would be sooo... nice to have his input, confirmation...

Well, Maybe in all honesty, it's because I'd really like to "blame someone else" when it turns out to be the wrong choice. You see, if he agreed or made the decision, then I'm off the hook. (Oh, now that's FREEDOM!) :-D

 

I completely get that one. Knowing myself though I get all childish if the guy I'm with is wiser then me.. I'll constantly do the opposite of what he says. It's something I need to work on, but hey, quite hard to do when you're not infact in a relationship... But yeah, I definitely understand that one.

I have to say that I constantly end up in the friend-section with guys, because I don't downplay my brainy side..
Like, they start out thinking that I look good, and then they end up wanting me as a friend instead.. "but you are my best friend, if we dated, who would I then discuss world politics with?" (ME, idiot, ME, lol)

You do know that there are plenty of Men that have the same power as well. In which, enables them to not only achieve your interpretation of a beautiful woman but, toss them to the side when they are done with them.

One of the first things a man needs to learn is confidence and, overcoming the objective. Having confidence in oneself will attain any woman you desire providing you don't give up before you even try.

I actually dont think that as beautiful a woman is, as brainless she is. It just doesnt depends on it actually. and i would even say that wisdom and spirituality makes a person (a woman or a man) more and more beautiful and attractive.

 

Spirituality and wisdom are words not so readily available in the lexicon of the modern, They thrive on narcissism and ego masturbation. Spirituality is internal, religion is external and as for wisdom read my signature. Few understand that and fewer will embrace it.
