You're right. It is a waste of time and decriminalization them would actually generate more revenue if taxing them heavily would be considered. We buy legal drugs anyway. They are over the counter top drugs approved by the FDA.

And another note, I can't necessarily see you as moderate or conservative based on our conversations. You sort of come off as a anarcho-libertarian. Yet you try your best to be a centrist in many of the issues we're discussing.

 

Well, the truth is that the term "moderate" doesn't really exist. You take a position, but there's never any real middle ground. Rather, you're compromising with both, but in the end one side will benefit more than the other. This is especially true in politics.
