Inspired by the wonderful people here and there on the forum, I hereby create a one stop thread in which you can graciously give compliments to your favorite members and show them a sign of gratitude. With so much asinine behavior on the forums lately, I'm compelled to demonstrate that, despite the unusual events, we all can still let the good times roll!

So here on out, show some love to your members and please, let us all keep things in great fortune and be prideful of your kindness.

I don't think a man should necessarily pay for a woman all the time. That's a little too prehistoric for me. But I do believe that each person should be able to stand on their own two feet alone. Then, they can come together as equals. That has just been the type of relationship that works best in my experience. But again, I'm headed to divorce court so I'm certainly no authority, LOL.

Seriously, though, she fell in love with a guy from her home country on Facebook. However, the relationship was troubled for a long time. She needed way more attention than I had time to give, with work, grad school, etc. I'm an only child and way too independent for her (oldest of 3 sisters, from a very close-knit family unit). We each stepped out once during periods of quasi-separation, so she finally just asked for her walking papers. My only beef with that was the fact that she asked 3 weeks into 1L.

Oh yeah. But in all fairness, she got hooked on the dude online first, then asked for the divorce and after I moved out, she booked a flight to hook up with him. She just needed attention and in all fairness, I didn't have the time to deal with that level of need. As long as she doesn't obstruct my access to my son (which happens on occasion) I don't have any issue with it.

2.Because of your fairness. Many times I hear people talking extremely bad about their ex-wives/husbands or gfs/bfs. You are able to understand that it doesn't work and why, anymore. Further , you are capable to see that it's not a fault of her or you; there are just wishes or needs you two cannot fulfill in your relationship

To be honest, hntr, just realizing this - oftentimes I confuse karmacoma and Nico with each other when I'm not paying attention because their posting style is so similar... Vaudeville and Satyr also - in many ways these 4 could be interchangeable.
