Barcelona stomped Malaga today. Antonio Banderas is NOT a happy camper!

Not sure the Gunners can pull that one off. As long as Messi's healthy...

True. I would have liked to see the Gunners or Chelsea do better this year. And even in La Liga, I'm ready for a changing of the guard...not for Real Madrid, but for someone unexpected, like Valencia, Villareal or Sevilla. I know that Leeds Utd. won't be back in the premiership, but that's my dream! LOL.

Soccer is the most bullshit sport I have ever seen. I can't see how anybody can watch that shit.

Most popular sport in the World bro, translates across continents and countries.

Go to any country in the world and start kicking a ball and they will know what's up, you don't even have to speak the same language. Its like good, rhythmic music that transcends across languages.

I'm an all around sports fan but nothing beats the pageantry, color and emotions of the World Cup when different nations come together.

Guess you have to be an open minded and understanding of other cultures to truly appreciate it.

Arsenal are too weak mentally. They crumble every season when the chips are down.

Thank god that Denilson and Nicklas Bendtner are leaving, he can take Almunia, Squillaci and a few more soft hearted players with him.

Cesc will leave to go to Barca, no matter what Wenger the mouth says. Watch Wenger sign two unknown French players from Montpelier or somewhere else in France and claim we are going to win the league in the 2011/2012 season.

I miss the old Arsenal with Bergkamp, Henry, Overmars, Petit, Vieira.

Veterans who had that cutting edge and grit that the current team lacks big time.

Now THERE are some French players who can help you win a season! I couldn't agree more with that assessment of the Gunners.

Soccer requires some of the most intense conditioning of any sport. 45 minutes per half, no timeouts, full-on pace. Just having muscles won't get it, you have to be conditioned and have some serious stamina to compete. I know a lot of people don't like it, but soccer/football (and basketball) is my favorite team sport for that reason. Watch it with some people who are really into it and you'll get caught up in the excitement as well.

Blasphemy. This is the most absurd and hurtful statement I've seen on this forum. Perfect example why the First Amendment needs to be reviewed. Wait a minute, that also gives me the right to Worship Soccer. Okay then, meet me in Howard County and settle this. That's right.

Anyway, here's Kevin Prince Boateng's tribute to Michael Jackson.

I actually went in person to see the game. 4-0, so disappointed.

Tell me about it. After beating them 2-0 in their last meeting, they could have at least made one goal. Caught the match at my neighborhood soccer bar. The pic of the dejected/disgusted faces at the bar says it all.
