They drew 1:1 with Argentina today which was a big surprise. That’s why I said go Iceland!

Lost twice this weekend, not a good start to the WC!!

 

I forgot Germany.

 

It's part of a VW ad campaign, asking US citizens to cheer for other teams since the USA didn't make it. Each country then puts a joke in about why they could use the US support. Iceland's pitch was because w/o the US fans, they don't have enough people to perform the wave in the stadium. LOL

 

Go Germany! Now or never!

 

Omg, what a game!!!

 

I missed all of today's games watching my son's tennis tournament, but I got regular FB updates, lol.

 

I watched only Germany‘s game in the evening. We had already given up on them when the second goal came.

 

I am not following the championship.

 

It sure is. Hope Germany wins the Cup.

 

It is hard to watch because of the time difference.

You're right. A lot of my friends actually take half or whole days to watch when their country is playing. LOL

So far the best play is coming from Uruguay, Senegal, Mexico and England.

P.S.: 10:14 a.m.: Mexico had better play more aggressively if they want to win this.
