Can we please get some “Micronauts” action? I’m really hoping for it.

The characters? I doubt that since they were licensed from Mego back when the comics were being published & trademark & licensing is now owned by IDW Publishing. They could get away with doing some type of fan service/easter egg move by giving some characters in the Quantum Realm the names of Arcturus Rann, Marrionette & Bug since those were names created for certain characters when they had the Micronauts license.

I recall people wondering whether or not some MCU take on Bug would show up in any sequels to the Guardians of the Galaxy after the first movie came out since that character was a member of the team for a time. Same thing with the Galadorian Spaceknights since they were tied to the character Rom, another licenced character now owned by IDW publishing, that have popped up in the Marvel Comics universe on occasion over the last several years.

Hmm..........I don't 100% agree with this. This could only happen if Spider-Man was already familiar with Batman and surprised him. If they just met and started fighting Spider-Man would think a man in a bat costume would be a joke, and he would act accordingly (i.e. not take him seriously). The spider-sense would be an essential tool in fighting, however, it warns him of danger but it doesn't tell him exactly what the danger is. If Batman threw a seemingly ordinary Batarang at Spidey, he (Spider-man) might web it up or dodge it, but he might not know that it would be electrified, or have knock-out gas, which would disorient him long enough for Batman to take advantage and knock him out. Batman, on the other hand, takes every fight seriously. He would deduce rather quickly that Spiderman has superhuman strength and agility. (Batman being a master of acrobatics and ninja fighting styles, would know that someone moving as fast and agile as Spiderman would have to be stronger than he looks) So he would keep his distance from Spiderman's hands, and that would require Spiderman to rely on his web fluid. Batman is bound to have some kind of quick-acting anti-adhesive device or substance that he would use to negate Spiderman's attempt to keep him in place. If Bats indeed had "prep time" he would have brought a lot of anti-adhesive or even worn a special Batsuit that Spiderman's webs won't stick to. Honestly, unless Peter is enraged I don't think his spider-sense and abilities can overcome Batman's toys and strategic thinking.

I always tend to think that the superpower trumps the majority of tools/toys devised by non-powered heros to overcome a superpowered individual, unless they have the element of surprise. The post above does make me consider the possibility that it might not work out that way at all times.

Just got back from seeing BP:WFE. Okay, I’ll admit, my assumptions were mostly wrong. Yes, it’s female led. But, that’s not a bad thing. Not the way it was handled.

And, while there was some humor, it wasn’t the typical insert joke at every dire minute kind of Marvel movie. Yes, the movie has a few issues. I still think Namor should have been more cut(his crew needed to look in better shape). And, the action, while good, wasn’t great. But, that didn’t sink the film. It’s a better movie than Black Adam. But, Black Adam had better action scenes.

Also, there is a scene between Angela Basset and Dani Guerrera that, if it were in any other kind of film, would be Oscar worthy.

in short: Ryan Coogler did his thing.

    7.5/10 for me.

Due to choices made with the story and production that I fundamentally disagree with, I'm choosing not to see it, but I'm glad you liked it, and I'm glad that it's a well-made movie.

I am with @Thump. Glad you like it @samson1701 but NO RECAST, NO TICKET for me.

Honestly with every movie, I have disliked what they have done with T'Challa in the MCU.
Its gotten worse every movie. Civil War was a good start but that was the peak in my book.

The Witcher: Blood Origin Official Teaser

The four-episode miniseries is set 1,200 years before the events of The Witcher.
Scian (Michelle Yeoh) and her cohorts will bring about the very first witcher — a monster hunter with magical powers.

I understand where you’re coming from. Matter of fact, the only reason I saw it was because got a free ticket. Otherwise, I was going to wait until it hit Disney+. And, I think everyone here knows how pro black male I am and how much I wanted them to recast T’Challa. This was not a movie I was going to see.

But, see it I did. And, without giving away any spoilers, I’ll just say, were in good shape. Even if you see it and think it’s bad movie, we’re still in good shape.

    Ladies & Gentlemen . . .

introducing the most egregiously delayed installment of a fantasy streaming series of the decade . . .

the most underrated and unacknowledged high quality production of the century . . .

undoubtedly the most highly anticipated Amazon Studios production of winter 2023:

I just realized something: we have, not one, but two, back to back, black led, big budget, Hollywood franchise, successful superhero films dominating the box office, right now!

These aren’t low budget hood films. These aren’t foolish comedies or even an acting vehicle for some hot new black comedian. These are films that are currently crushing thee hottest film genre of the last two decades: superhero movies. It doesn’t get any bigger or more mainstream than this.

Love them, or hate them. It doesn’t matter. This is really historic. This is a big fucking deal.

This was the very first video game that I ever bought with my own money. It was the greatest game ever made for the 1980's.

No one really knew what it was exactly about lol . . . the original TV commercial just had some white guy on it yelling "Zelda!!! Zelda!!! Z - E- L - D - A!!!" I cut lawns all summer 1987 to save up the $$$. It was the most expensive game of its age . . . $40 bucks before taxes. I never knew an action RPG was possible as I had previously become enthralled by "The Hobbit" on Commodore 64 but that was a true RPG based chapter and verse on the JRR Tolkien classic that accompanied the game. This 8-bit video game changed the boundaries of what was possible!!
