Marvel and Activision announced Deadpool at Comic Con 2012.
Deadpool is being developed by High Moon Studios, the same studio behind Transformers: War for Cybertron and Fall of Cybertron, with a release date planned for sometime in 2013. Platforms for the game were not announced but the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC seem a safe bet.
The game is a third-person action game full of Deadpool juvenile humor and violence plus the classic breaking of the fourth wall. This is the first time the character of Deadpool has had a game all to himself after last making an appearance in Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and Marvel Ultimate Alliance before that.
Nolan North who is most famous for Nathan Drake in the Uncharted series, will voice Deadpool once again. North previously voiced Deadpool in Marvel vs Capcom 3, Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions and the Hulk Vs. animated movie.

I hate how they're discontinuing this show, and keeping that Ultimate Spider-Man bullshit up

A little more gratuitously violent than I would have thought Marvel would be comfortable putting out, especially since they are owned by Disney now.

True. Every innovation is not an improvement.

Yep, they paid $4 billion, like it wasn't anything. Just goes to show how rich Disney is.

And that they have figured out that Marvel's movie franchise is a gold mine.

I trust what Zack Snyder and Christopher Nolan is doing with this movie. I'm sure it will overshadow Superman Return

He could've been okay, but I put my blame on Bryan Singer for Superman Returns

    Perhaps

I like the idea of having supes fight general zod tho

This is going to be a barn burner

Agreed. Singer should have stuck to the X-Men franchise rather than jumping ship for a more "iconic" character. He basically killed two franchise with that move. I would have preferred seeing his take on a third X-Men and how he handle Jean Grey as Phoenix rather than what we got with his take on Superman.

Don't even get me started on the X-Men movies. Lol I hated all three of them, and X-Men First Class

i actually though First Class was better than it would be

when I first seen the costumes and the cast, I was like this is some bullshit

after I watched it, I was like :smt036

there's another Wolverine movie coming out, but I dont know any real details

I do know Hugh Jackman is returning to the role, just like Robert Downey is playing Iron Man. Notice how they're getting their money making actors play all day, every day.

Oh most definitely. You can't make Lex Luthor the main villian in a Superman movie unless you put him in the battlesuit and actually fight Superman. General Zod as the villain will be perfect

    pettyofficerj New Member

yeah i think the villain is just as important as the hero

if you can get someone who can get supes to showcase his arsenal and have them tumble on some real manly shit...

    im sold, brah!

the whole kryptonite, kick him while he's weak shit was bawls...stop playin, lol

that's what makes Marvel movies so much fun. watching your favorite icons level a city in an epic fight:smt029
