Finally Netflix made a move. But how good are these guys without GoT. I know Benioff is producing the upcoming Gemini Man and has worked on the movie Troy(which was terrible.) but what else do they have.
I just saw Rotten Tomatoes put out this 3-minute clip discussing just that: The consensus online seems to be unless Benioff & Weiss are gonna be doing big-budget adaptions from well-written source material this is just another example of Netflix wasting money.
And I hope with giving them $200 million dollars that's what they are looking for them to do. Or they have just wasted money.
Writer J. Michael Strazcynski X Artist Mike Deodato, Jr. Reunite for The Resistance 08/2019 AWA (Artists, Writers, and Artisans) will launch its shared superhero universe with The Resistance, a six-issue series by J. Michael Straczynski and Mike Deodato, Jr. in spring 2020, according to The Hollywood Reporter. “The Resistance is the series that lays down the foundation for our shared universe — a universe that is rooted in the 21st Century,” AWA chief creative officer Axel Alonso, who was an editor for Strazcynski and Deodato's run on Amazing Spider-Man. Alonso went on to call The Resistance “world-building at its finest by two elite creators working at the height of the talents.” The series focuses on the survivors of a global disaster that kills hundreds of millions of people - but leaves some with super powers. “Born under a cloud, they must discover who they are, why they possess these powers and what, if any, responsibility they bear for what happened,” he said. “Are they harbingers of perils to come… or Earth’s last hope?” Source: Newsarama

Underrated vampire show. I love this show. The first two seasons were masterful. Last season was good but could've been better. But I'm looking forward to this season.

Underrated. Good story telling and actually makes vampires scary. Sometimes you have to watch something to see for yourself.
