I don't hate Angelina, but I never got the appeal. She's also a pretty average actress imo. But she said she's going give the role of Thena her all so yeah we'll see.

It's easier to get away with race-bending/gender-bending/sexual orientation-bending when you do it with more obscure characters the average person has never heard of.

But I do think Bryan Tyree Henry as Phastos is a bit accurate since he has been colored in darker.


And I say a bit accurate because I think Boris Kodjoe should've been casted as Phastos

 

They better not fuck him up. He's one of my favorite Marvel characters. I have his first appearance (at least I hope I still do). The no cape thing is already giving me pause.

 

Looks wise he could do it. But his acting and overall presence is a little light weight for the role, I think.

 

It would have been better in my opinion if they saved him for Spiderman. Since this movie is wedged between Civil War and Infinity War I really hope he comes back in another movie. I'd rather see Black Widow have a female villain, like the other Black Widow, or a modern Madame Masque.

I fucks with Van Helsing. That's a pretty good show that actually makes vampires... scary! A lot of blood. lol.

Although I like my vampires with fangs and it could've been even better if they had them.
