Brie is good for the part. Kinda reminds me of a military girl.

It's what happens when SJWs think they can boycott, petition, protest for their own self interest using social justice as a stepping stool to get what they want out of things they only care about because it's popular and mainstream.

Nothing says they can't do any of the Kang stuff or the Ultimates stuff. They are setting the MCU up to flow real world style, especially with all of the next generation younger heroes. They may be closing the book of the original six Avengers but they aren't closing the book on the Avengers concept. There'll be some sort of team to carry on what the Avengers started whether its New Avengers, Young Avengers, Ultimates or Alpha Flight.

They could but I say that mostly because they are going to need storylines for their shows on Disney+.
With Thanos and The Black Order gone there a bunch of villains and storylines; they are going to need to split them between the MCU and the TV shows and not try to cram them all into movies. It works as a long term plan as well for Marvel Movies and TV to have just as much longevity and success as the comics.

More than enough storylines & characters to go around for the TV series (Disney + & Hulu) as well as the movies. They can take their time to introduce characters & build up long running stories. They can now properly do crossover/intergration of both TV & movies.

I saw that petition earlier today. I thought it might be a joke.

I like the idea of the MCU following closer to real time and showing generational change. The only place outside comics I've seen any of that has been Young Justice (especially in it's 3rd season).

It makes since to do that with properties that they want to do as ongoing long standing franchises since actors either age out of roles or may want to move on to something else. Far better option than constantly re-booting & re-casting the franchise.

I bought this yesterday - and what a first issue! Strikingly gritty, brutal and dark antihero mayhem. The kind of stuff you would hope to see in a comic titled The Savage Avengers.

I'm to the point that I can't stand the word "gritty" anymore (Zack Snyder ruined it for everybody). But this looks really good, so you still get respect lol

Each word in your reply is ''gritty'' and unapologetic. [IMG]

I just caught up on Supergirl and it seems they are either reaching or they're going with
    James as Ultra Olsen.

And the reason why I say reaching is because this was normally a superman storyline
the affects that James experienced from the drug Lena gave him was powers that were super-hearing, can shoot lasers from his eyes and he levitated off of the table when he was dealing with PTSD from a past experience and Brainy was helping overcome it. I remember these abilities coming from his stint as Ultra Olsen and he obtain those differently.

I get it they are making some things different from the comics' universe. Which I do approve of and I actually like it that way. Adaptations give some originality to the material rather than a word for word, look for look show/movie... but sheesh. lol.
