Ghost Rider and Helstrom Series Coming to Hulu 05/01/2019 The Spirits of Vengeance are coming! In an expanded partnership, Marvel Television will bring two new live-action series to Hulu from a unique corner of the Marvel universe. The iconic adventures into fear properties, Marvel’s Ghost Rider and Marvel’s Helstrom are slated to debut on Hulu in 2020. Marvel’s Ghost Rider, also known as Robbie Reyes, is a quintessential antihero, consumed by hellfire and supernaturally bound to a demon. Reyes lives on the Texas/Mexico border and when he unleashes the Rider, Robbie brings vengeance for the innocents he encounters, but struggles to control the power he wields. According to Variety, Gabriel Luna will again play Ghost Rider, a role he originated on Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Daimon and Ana Helstrom are the son and daughter of a mysterious and powerful serial killer in Marvel’s Helstrom. The siblings have a complicated dynamic as they track down the terrorizing worst of humanity — each with their attitude and skills. Both series are co-productions with Marvel Television and ABC Signature Studios and join the upcoming season three of Marvel’s Runaways and recently-announced adult animated series based on the popular Marvel Television characters including Marvel’s M.O.D.O.K, Marvel’s Hit-Monkey, Marvel’s Tigra & Dazzler Show and Marvel’s Howard The Duck, which will culminate in a special event, Marvel’s The Offenders. https://tinyurl.com/y3lgkj4u
Well, these can't be worse than that second Nick Cage Ghost Rider movie. I'll never get that time back SMH
Don't get me wrong. It was good. It was well executed. And, as you stated, "... poetic even." But... Spoiler Tony should have lived. Part of the enjoyment of superheroes is in the end, they never give up, they always win and they live to fight another day. But, I realize that's probably just me. It doesn't detract from my admiration for that film and what they pulled off. And I still enjoyed the film immensely. It's just the more I think about it ...
I thought it ended perfectly. They explored so many story lines with these characters before they got played out. Too often we let things drag on and this series ended at the best time
Yeah, I can't really disagree with that. But, the same thing could have been accomplished with Spoiler Tony passing the torch to Rhody and riding off into the sunset with his family. Alive, but badly mangled by his use of the Infinnitty Gauntlet.
Spoiler He should have been able to use the stones to heal himself, also he has the nano tech suit that helps him heal tremendously, that's how he survived infinity war. Tony is a superhero but he also has that side of him that likes to just live and chill like he was doing in the first Avengers before they recruited him. It would have been easy to imagine him retiring especially sense He got Piper back.
There needed to be stakes and that's what made this film so powerful. Real heroes fight knowing they can lose everything that's what makes them so compelling. Why do you think we like GOT so much anyone can get it
Spoiler Black Widow is dead. The scene with her and Barton on the cliff was epic. You have a point, Tony's death just didn't make as much sense as hers. Especially given all that he survived. Loki died in infinity war. He was a hero in the end, but he is dead for good. I love the movie tho.
Spoiler Endgame's Biggest Plot Point Hints at the MCU's Next Possible Major Villain Avengers: Endgame succeeds in bringing a definitive ending to the first decade of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with Earth's Mightiest Heroes reversing the devastating snap and defeating Thanos. The Mad Titan was first teased in the mid-credits scene of 2012's The Avengers as his quest for the Infinity Stones was woven into many of the franchise's films, culminating with Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame. As fans look ahead to Phase Four, the discussion has turned to who next primary antagonist might be. The comic book source material, of course, offers plenty of potential candidates, but one villain in particular has a deep connection to a major plot point in Avengers: Endgame. The Avengers' plan to bring their dusted friends back involves using Pym Particles and the Quantum Realm to travel into the MCU's past and borrow the Infinity Stones. Needless to say, the strategy works, and the heroes defeat Thanos (while suffering losses along the way), but it also establishes semi-fluid rules to time travel and alternate timelines. For example, the Ancient One tells Bruce Banner that changing the past doesn't affect the Avengers' present or future, it only creates a new splintered timeline. That explains how Loki can escape with the Tesseract in the aftermath of the Battle of New York, and how Captain America can grow old in the past with Peggy Carter. One Marvel villain who is connected to the Avengers and who would take offense to their meddling of the time stream is Kang the Conqueror. Although he has gone by many different aliases, the man known as Nathaniel Richards has famously made a name for himself as Kang the Conqueror. Hailing from the 31st century, Kang jumped back and forth through time, battling the likes of the Avengers and the Fantastic Four. Some of the more memorable storylines he's been a part of include the Avengers Forever miniseries and "Kang Dynasty," along with his involvement in the Young Avengers and the Uncanny Avengers teams. Something else that makes Kang unique is the different iterations of the character, like Immortus, Rama-Tut, Scarlet Centurion and Iron Lad, all ranging from the heroic to the villainous. Any of these versions of could easily be introduced into the MCU, especially if the altering of time negatively affects his machinations. Kang may show up to battle the Avengers, or one his good-guy personas, like Immortus, could come from the future to warn them of a potential calamity. As an added bonus, with Kang being a possible descendant of Reed Richards (who becomes fascinated with history and discovers the time travel technology created by Victor von Doom/Doctor Doom) he could help usher in the Fantastic Four, whose rights are now controlled by Marvel, following Disney's acquisition of Fox. The use of time travel opens the MCU to a whole world of new and exciting storytelling avenues. It can continue to explore the past -- which is what the upcoming Eternals is reported to focus on -- or look ahead to the future. In either scenario, Kang the Conqueror should be keeping a watchful eye, ready to intervene at a moment's notice.
If they go with that it will more than likely be a part of the TV series coming to Disney+. Spoiler Everything that happened with the Avengers in Endgame from Steve Rogers aging and Tony Stark and Natasha Romanov dying not to mention Thor seemingly retiring The Russo Brothers have closed the chapter on the avengers in the MCU. The cast during interviews even hinted at the MCU passing the Torch to Captain Marvel which tells me the MCU is moving in direction of The Ultimates.
