Aside from the Klingons (the thugs in outer space), I can't remember any main villains that were black in Star Trek

Please don't tell me they're going to make him a Klingon villain...that's too obvious

But I see ur point

I mentioned this before but many comic studios refuse to create completely new minority characters, because new characters don't typically do well in general

They'd rather pick a character with an established following/name brand and take it from there

It's all about playing the statistics

 

It's so weak and I hope it flops. There's a sea of amazing source material out there there's no need to make Thor into a woman. What about Ms Marvel or Storm.
No need for a black spiderman what about a Blade reboot. Just sad
