Who said I was begging? When I said WWBM skype convo, I mean that I remember the last time I was part of one of the sessions and I liked it. :3 It'd be awesome to do it again.
Oh yeah! It would be nice to do it again. But, methinks that it's been going on and we didn't get an invite. Ah well...who cares. I was struggling to see which one of you earn one or the other since you both carry a great deal of courage and wisdom. But, I feel my decisions on allocating the triforces were well deserved.
Is it just me or was the "good" Superman blowing up cars with innocent civilians in them when Black Adam was grabbing moving vehicles out of traffic & hurling them at him???
I noticed that as well. Collateral damage has always been an issue with superheroes. Look at the fight between Superman and Captain Marvel on Justice League Unlimited, they destroyed a whole city. There is no way people didn't get hurt/killed.
Big difference between when you're in free for all battle getting punched & thrown through buildings so no way in preventing the collateral damage when it happens. Superman especially always avoids harming civilians even if it means putting himself in harms way instead. I know it was just done as part of the game play but Superman won't have allowed Black Adam to continually grab cars the way he did and hurl them at him, especially if it had innocents inside. As soon as Black Adam would have picked up the first car with people in it, Superman would have either rushed him at super speed to prevent him from throwing it or hit him with the freeze breath to immobilize him to allow him to remove the innocents out of harms way.
Just picked up the latest issue of Star Wars: Legacy from Dark Horse Comics. This one follows the adventures of a descendant of Han and Leia. Pretty good so far. But I'm definitely loving my Dawn of the Jedi and Baltimore series.
Comic Writer Robert Morales Dies. Robert Morales is best known to comic book fans for the 2003 Marvel series Truth: Red, White & Black, which received a great deal of publicity and controversy at the time for its storyline, which revealed that the serum that turned Steve Rogers into Captain America in World War II was first tested on black soldiers; echoing the real-life Tuskegee Experiments. The seven-issue series, illustrated by Kyle Baker, introduced the character of Isaiah Bradley, who became an important part of the Marvel Universe. Morales was also an entertainment journalist, who worked for various publications including Vibe.
It's Lex City, so Superman honestly doesn't care about anything with Luthor's name on it. That's why he's less concerned about the buildings.
Bishop to Join X-Men: Days of Future Past http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/04/24/bishop-and-warpath-join-x-men-days-of-future-past?abthid=51784ad12eddcd4c29000027 According to tweets sent out by director Bryan Singer, The one and only Black Male X-Man, will be making an appearance in the new movie. Actor, Omar Sy has recently been cast, the speculation is that he will be Bishop. On a personal note, I had been an X-Men fan since the early 80's, you can imagine how stoked I was to see a Brother joining the ranks of Xavier's mutant heroes. So consequently Ive felt a little bitter about the way Marvel has treated Bishop as a character. They turn him into the biggest comic book turn coat ever, when he betrays an attacks the X-Men, and then they have him try to murder a child. Not even the worst X-villain has tried to kill a baby. I hope that comic book side of Marvel gets their shit together, and fined a way to redeem the character.
If there's bishop, there's got to be forge or cable Bishop had a white love interest too I think....can't remember but I think her eye sparkled Days of future past was one of the coolest arcs around
The Evil Within Coming soon to consoles (and PCs) near you, the father of survival horror, Shinji Mikami, is creating a newly developed horror game for those who feel that the horror genre has strayed away from its roots. It's heavily apparent when the RE franchise now has a more of an action-oriented theme and less of survival horror aspect. The Evil Within is a third-person shooter that invokes, what Mikami and his company Tango Gameworks, TRUE heir apparent to the survival horror genre. The video below gives us a taste of what's to come, but still a far cry from what we know [or can know] about the game. Luckily, there is an article for it and you can read about it here: http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/04/22/the-evil-within-first-look My opinion on the matter? I respect and loved a lot of Mikami's offerings, and this should be a wonderful treat to those who felt the RE series has left its roots. Here are some more screenshots for your pleasure...
