ah yeah thanks for the rep who woulda known a photo of a grown man (dressed as a dinosaur no less...) surrounded by little kids holding his hand, would warrant positive rewards :smt081 replace the dinosaur with a priest and the rep color probably would be different.......
I didn't think so. I mean, it IS scary and the original version is (better and) scarier, but even so... :smt102 I never thought Candyman was all that scary either. Although, like everyone here, I'm not racing to stand in front of a mirror and say 'candyman'. Hahahaha!
Candyman was the first 'serial killer' I was ever sort of sexually attracted to. I was also fearfully drawn in by Hellraiser because he spoke intellectually (where most SK's don't speak except for ol' Kruger who was ugly as hell), but Canyman....he was broodingly handsome and spoke so commandingly....along with the IR sexual tension between the two..Arrgh, I wanted to be taken by him too!
explains a helluva lot actually but u get points for Pinhead tho he's definitely on my list of like top 5 horror villains he wasn't really bananas like Freddy or talking a bunch of dumb shit he was always like calm and cool while tearing the flesh from your bones
Pinhead was quite a unique horror villain. As a Cenobite, he does not play with you like Freddy. If Pinhead says,"We'll tear your soul apart," you better believe it. The Cenobites can kill at the speed of thought. In one of the Hellraiser sequels, it told a brief story about the man who would become the leader of the Cenobites. Coincidentally, both Hellraiser and Candyman were based on stories by author Clive Barker.
The first Jeepers Creepers made me jump. But, The Creeper had a purpose. He is the only creature in horror films to be allowed a certain time to attack and satisfy his appetite for human beings. Jason only attacked if a person entered his neck of the woods.
Aww c'mon now....we ladies ain't looking at that hook (though it does have a nice smooth middle curve there "nub nub" :smt047) We see the hand size and swooon :smt060 yes! *sigh* his face his shoulders :smt054 Candyman is every woman's desire... What's a few stings when u get to be taken by this man! :smt077
Ohhhhhh, I did not know that! Well damn, what a talent Barker is! :smt023 I will say JC was scary in that it kept my attention. The cross-State night driving we have all done and the bus riding (II), we all have been on one so it was relatable in that I could imagine it happening to me.
Yeah, I remember driving remote roads and bus rides. Jeepers Creepers and A Nightmare On Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge were on an interesting list; "unintentionally gay horror film." If you look at both films it is there. There was a time when monsters in movies killed men and kept the women alive for themselves. Now that has changed. Victims are unisexual. Clive Barker wrote a book you might find interesting called Galilee. Galilee is a tall, handsome and mysterious black man who has powers that transcend time. He also has great sexual powers, too.
"The hills have eyes" and "I spit on your grave" really creeped me out. Any movie with a rape scene. For a woman that is scary, especially if you have experienced a rape attempt before.
