Just a note I posted on Facebook. Thought I should share with the rest. No offense intended here. Everyword written with Love. In my vain attempt to understand this world with my finite understanding as a mere man, I turn to God, the all knowing and all perfect. Simply because I know in part and the answers to the questions I hold in my heart lie in him and him alone. No one can disuade me from this fact, because I lived on this planet just like the rest of you, and I've been through the hard times and hella hard times, but the only constant in my life was Jesus Christ. When I loathed this world and hated the pain that I saw therein, when nothing but fear clouded my judgement and consumed my heart, it was him who fought back for me through the power of love. Often times as people we say that the opposite of Love is hate... but I'm here to correct you on this misconception, the opposite of Love is Fear. Pefrect love casteth out all fear, it's in the word. In our microwave society we want everything in an instant. Instant grits (Lord knows they never taste as good as the ones mom and dad slow cooked), instant oatmeal, instant gratification, instant love... We don't want to work for it, we don't want to put in the time and effort to slow cook it, season it just right, to get that perfect desireable taste... NO NO NO, WE WANT IT NOW. Now let me show you a more excellent way: Love is patient Love is kind Love envieth not Love vaunteth not itselfl; is not puffed up Love doth not behave itself unseemly Love seeketh not her own Love is not easily provoked Love thinketh no evil Love rejoiceths not in inquity, But rather rejoiceths in the truth. Lover bareth all things, Believeth all things, Hopeth all things, Endureth all things... Love Never Fails. From the heart of God straight to you. Oh I know you may not agree with what was said, and I'm not here to argue with you over the truth of the matter when I see it plain as day. Examine yourself as do I as carefully ask yourself what your life would be like if you praticed this kind of love, what this world would be like if the praticed this kind of love. The answer... PERFECT, undeniably PERFECT. So let's take a lesson from the book of Jesus Christ and try to add a little perfection, which I will call Love, into each and everyone one of our lives. Yes I know, So-and-So may not treat you the same way, and may use you, and treat you wrong, but that's no reason to stop loving. Love was never and will never be a two way street. Love starts with God and ends with God, same as Love starts with you and ends with you. There is no prerequiste, no fee to pay, no contract to sign." Free have I given to you so free I encourage you to give to others." Apostle Paul. My friends let's stop walking in Fear and allowing the evil of this world and this day in age to control our thoughts, minds and hearts. God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of peace, love and a sound mind. Let's not put the blame where it doesn't belong. Don't BLAME God. Let's look inside and realize that the mistakes that we've made are our faults. Yes some of us have been abused, but who told you to hold onto that and be unforgiving. Many of us today are praying and hoping and asking God for a way out of the termoil and chaos, and for many of us he is sending people and things our way. So why are we still in the chaos and termoil, because we allow the fear of the unkown to consume us, control us and ultimately defeat us. We are afraid to reach out to those sent to us as gifts from the father to help us navigate our way out of this mess and into his marvelous light. Have you grown so used to your jail cell that your are afraid to walk out of it when Jesus Christ has come and opened the door to set you free? I encourage you, get on your feet and let go of the shackles and chains that you are allowing to bind you up, and walk into the freedom that Christ has laid out for you on the other side of those cell bars. This time, I garuntee you, the grass is truely greener on the other side. "For I have come to give you life, and life more abundant" -Jesus Christ-
