No more sitting behind a computer anonymously spouting off insensitive, racist, harassing, or trolling posts. The e laughs and e high fives aren't worth it.

Thank you to everyone that have reached out to us to let us know what has been happening. We are fully aware of the situation and are completely disgusted by the comments that have been made! We have dealt with this individual quickly. Our hearts and prayers go out to all that have been affected by this unrest. This person’s personal views by no means reflect how we feel and we have take quick steps to terminate this person. Thank you to everyone that reached out to us. We were as disgusted as everyone to hear these kind of words spoken and disappointed that this kind of talk and belief still exists in our world today. This employee was let go immediately after we had learn what had happened. Thank you to all that help us with this.”

“Earlier today, Brown’s Car Stores was made aware of racist and other inappropriate posts made by an employee. Brown’s does not condone nor does it tolerate racism, bigotry or any other expression of prejudice or discrimination against anyone of any race, gender or religion. We have taken immediate action and the individual is no longer a part of the Brown’s family. While individuals are responsible for their own behavior, Brown’s sincerely apologizes to anyone who was subjected to these comments. During this time of Thanksgiving, we give thanks for our employees, our customers and the communities we live and have built our business in, for your support. - Brown’s Car Stores”

I have a neg rep from someone who thinks you're a terrible person, north. Subscribing to your threads apparently is a no-no and I might get stalked by you.

I'm dealing with weak-minded babies here.

P.S. The whole neg rep is asinine and moot.

Are people really stalking? I was having this conversation on another thread. There's no excuse for that and I hope no one is doing it. It sucks. I wish we could all get back to laughter and healthy debate. Life's too short to seek out antagonism online and I'm sure we all have enough of that in our offline lives.

I'm familiar with much of the stalking history with certain individuals, especially one well-known one from a few years back. However, I think now...with the digital age, there's a heightened level of paranoia regarding privacy and such.

This thread is much more entertaining than the now-defunct creepwhitepeople tumblr page.

True. A few keystrokes are all that separate people these days.

Further illustrates a sense of being disconnected.

Our society is more virtually connected than ever and yet still disconnected emotionally/socially.

It's a huge trade off, which would mean...we are slowly becoming the codes we try to avoid.

I wonder what it will take to change this.

Anything you say can and will be used against you in human resources.

I wish I had answer to that...but nothing is concrete.
