The girl or guy that got away?

Have you folks ever dated anyone you weren't ready for, took for granted, in retrospective figure it was a good thing?

I remember a girl i was dating years back who was great. She was straight forward, smart, sexual, and had a sense of humor.

I remember one night we were walking near the beach and seen these group of black girls and she randomly shouted at them; " yeah he's mine bitches!!" it was hilarious.

Basically, as weeks went by she got too serious for me. There were talks of moving in together and her moving to my town because she lived almost 2-hours away.

I was 23 and she was 20. I was overwhelmed and i began to keep my distance a bit. Eventually, we grew apart because of me sabotaging things.

I'm well over it of course but i cant help but to think what could have been. Those beautiful green eyes and milky white skin will never be forgotten lol; ive tried craigslist missed connections which has worked in the past finding people i have met but so far no success.

 

There is definitely a "one that got away" in my past.

I think about him from time to time wondering where he is, who he's married to, how many kids he has, etc. Breaking up with him, for really no reason, is one of my few true regrets.

 

I have never had that feeling of 'the one that got away' to be honest. I have more of the thank goodness he got away............... I am pretty sure I am the ONE that got away (no just kidding)........... maybe he is glade I got away though. LOL,,, but what I am trying to say is,,,, no I haven't had that feeling..... And hopefully I never cause it sounds like it sucks..... :smt087 I feel I have this great ability to move on, forward and up. or perhaps I just need to be quiet now and go to bed.

There was never anyone who got away in the sense of people I wanted a relationship with but dammit if there weren't a bunch of girls I regret not sleeping with when I had the chance.
I've noticed the opposite with a lot of female friends, they regret the majority of the guys they slept with

 

Can't say I can think of anyone that falls into this category for me...but I believe I may be the one that got away soon....
