DISCLAIMER: I would post this article in the science section, but given the nature of the site, it gears off towards the meditative thought processes. Still though, I like the content that's been shown and would like to share it with the rest of you.

    The Four Brain States

The brain is by far, the most powerful organ in the human body, and the most advanced piece of technology we have, in which we don't take full consideration of at the same time. And have any of you experienced those moments where suddenly you become far more receptive to information or even far more alert in ways you couldn't imagine? Well, this is where the brain states commences and the components which allows you to perform, otherwise, feats that cannot not done on a daily basis.

There are four brain states: Alpha, Beta, Delta, and Theta.

Alpha - The means to be at a heightened peace of mind.

Beta - Allowing you to fully focus at a pin-point level of consciousness. You're able to critically figure out things that are otherwise difficult to comprehend.

Delta - The process in which your body suddenly heals all wounds and fatigue, in which you're in a deep sleep.

Theta - The heightened awareness which drives the human brain to experience greater levels of information. You're at the between stages of being alert and being asleep. In doing so, you can process things at a much higher level.

The brain is a fascinating organ to research and through some neurological means, we could possibly unlock the "Ubersmench" within all of us should we bring together the heightened abilities of our inner selves.

So, I have to ask the lot of you the following:

    1. Have you ever experienced any hyper-sensory conditioning which allowed you to go through any level of adversity? (Don't skimp on details. Be as concrete as possible.)
    2. Which brain state do you connect towards? By connect, I mean where does your mind often go commonly?
    3. Does this thread open any possibilities to see where your full potential lies?
