The Five Codes of Tang Soo Do

    My wife was awarded her 4th degree black belt (SA Dan) recently in Tang Soo Do, Moo Duk Kwan. The thing that stood out among the testers was her committment to further the teachings of the five codes of conduct to all her students (now and the futre) and to our son. Simply the five codes are:

    1. Loyalty to one's country

    2. Obedience to parents

    3. Honor friendships

    4. Always Finish What You Start

    5. In Fighting, Choose With Sense, Honor, Loyalty and Discipline

    I'm so proud of her.

    She thanks you. I'm beginning to feel insecure on her success. She outperforms me. She is very successful in all she does. Her next goal is get her PH.D, doctorate degree in early child development. Her personal philosophy is to be the best she can be with no limitations.
