The American Justice System is F*cked

You should not even be surprised. I remembered that. That poor guy hasn't even received a pardon. And he's still trying to get an appeal.

 

The country as a whole is fucked, not just the justice system.

The former University of New Mexico professor arrested Thursday in connection with an online prostitution ring went before a judge Friday.

F. Chris Garcia, known on the website, Southwest Companions, as BurquePops, was the fifth person arrested in connection with the online prostitution website run by New Jersey Professor David Flory.

The two other men, Brian Dorsey and Doug Plummer, also stood in an Albuquerque courtroom today.

The three were ordered to not travel outside the state, and not use the Internet.

Garcia, who was named interim president of UNM in 2002, was allegedly the moderator of the site and in charge of making sure patrons were not undercover cops.

Garcia was also part of a group, referred to as “The Hunt Club”, which was responsible for recruiting women to become prostitutes for Southwest Companions.

Investigators say after Flory and three other people were arrested Monday, Garcia jumped on the site, frantically deleting postings.

Police say the site has been active since 2005 and explained that the site was not a cash cow for Flory or Garcia.

 

One of the reasons I am not to keen on state courts is they deal out different punishment(pfft sentences is the official word I guess but who are we kidding in this example) The other problem is lack of equality in the system. I bet that ceo got as much as lawyers as he could afford.

That's how it goes in usa. Equality justice virtue... The heck with that the all mighty dollar will get you out of almost anything or lessen the sentence.

 

Everything is tracked and archived on the Internet. If he is innocent(doesn't look like it but I believe in innocent before trial thingy so he gets the shadow), you just got to start building your case that it was not you that was using the account. These actions of deleting it is going to make it hard on him. after being charged suddenly pages start being deleted.:smt085
