Texas to execute man in notorious dragging death

Manson did get the death penalty, but the sentence was commuted when the Death Penalty was outlawed in the 1970s. When it began to be re-imposed, they could not go back legally and alter the sentence.

This is at least the second time I've answered this question on the forum in the last few days
