The broad picture bubba is that we are not being treated the same by the justice system. Get it?

I still can't get past TDK's point that if those other boys hadn't been in the car with the victim, the jury would not have convicted Dunn of first degree murder!!

    That's just insane.

I can't tell you how many times as a teen I've been in a car with the music playing too loud at a mall/gas station/convenience store and didn't give a fuck about turning the volume down, especially if females were present.

I totally can see myself in that same situation at 18 and telling Dunn to 'shut the fuck up, ol' dude!'

There are some stupid things that teenagers do, playing music too loud is one of them.

The moment those jurors KNEW there was no weapon in the victim's car, how was his killing not premeditated murder??

    I just don't understand.

Maybe the screw up was the DA charging Dunn with 1st degree instead of 2nd degree murder.

You nailed I. The DA either racist and wanted him to get away with it or dumb as fuck

Its definitely something that makes one ponder. That whole situation wasn't necessary, so what if someone is playing loud music, pump your gas and get the fuck on, it isn't that serious. Some folks are just mentally jacked up that they can't just live and let live. :)

exactly. You and I aren't law professionals, and we know that it wasn't first-degree murder. The DA is a pro -- think he didn't know?

That's why I'll believe Dunn will serve time exactly when the sentence is in. The judge might have a few tricks up his (her?) sleeve too.

Black con-servatives' responses to these issues would be hilarious if it weren't so sad. Their logic, if one could call it that, says that because there is a black on black crime problem (note: the perpetrators of those crime are often caught and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law) we should ignore the issue of whites killing young black men for nothing and getting away with it.

That's like saying that because a man beats his wife, it's okay for the neighbor to do so, too.

My son is a huge Grey's fan so I've seen the show, and he is one of my favorite actors. This was a great clip.

If people didn't "whine" about injustices your dumb ass would have no opportunities to make the best of. Don't you get it by ignoring the problem you make it seem like its ok. You my friend are lost. I'll pray for you brother

I saw a clip on youtube where the victim's attorney interviewed a neighbor of Michael Dunn. And it really shed a light about this guy. According to the neighbor, he was a smart, intelligent man, but he didn't know a whole lot about interpersonal relationships. He is a bullying, entitled, arrogant, drug addicted(alcohol, cocaine and marijuana) and violent man. He believed that all blacks and Latin/Hispanic people were below the white race(odd since Dunn had been married to two latinas from outside this country, Mexico and Colombia. He abused them both physically and verbally). He believed that no one should ever challenge him or disagree with him or he will react. That was how he was raised(his mother was responsible for most of his beliefs)and he believed in seizing any and all chances to make a profit; lie, cheat, steal, maybe kill. Having a gun, to him, was the ultimate power trip and he had hoped that he would shoot someone. The neighbor stated when he heard what happened, he was not surprised that Dunn did the shooting but he was shocked that it was a young boy he shot and killed. Dunn thought he would get away with it. But, his vehicle was identified and then he turned himself in because he knew he was going to be caught. Dunn going to order pizza after doing this is a sign of a man who does not care.

The cops found a SILENCER in Michael Dunn's car. Only spies, hitmen and vigilantes have silencers.

Why would a law-abiding citizen need a silencer, unless he intended to use his firearm illegally??

The discovery of that silencer IMO means Dunn had premeditation to kill someone, anyone.

The prosecution in this case must really be that awful.:smt031

He could've either made it himself or purchased it at a gun show. I don't know of any sane person who would use a silencer other than a special operator, spy(spies don't use handguns very often), or a hit man(though hit men use .22 caliber pistols for that purpose), but a civilian? I believe he wanted to kill someone. Well, he was looking for the right moment to use his gun as he was half drunk at the time. He got what he wanted. I am very sure Michael Dunn's case will be tried again if they get a more effective prosecutor.

He would have a hard time explaining that if it was a handgun silencer especially if it is made for a 9mm. The only point in having a handgun when hunting would be backup protection from bears and only a dummy would use a 9mm for that purpose.

Most hunters carry a .357 or a .44 special/.44 magnum or Smith & Wesson .5oo,454 Casull and other high-powered calibers for hunting purposes. Of course, a .45 can be used on the trail, too.
