    although i did find this part funny

    MANY cops are roid raging maniacs.

    Steroids are a HUGE problem in pig-pens all over this country.

    They did use one. As messed up as he was, I'm not surprised it didn't work.

    All things considered, it sounds like they did the best they could at handling the crazy situation. As psychotic as his raging was, he was probably close to keeling over on his own.
