I don´t know why that is, but it happend to me pretty often that in some public places I start talking with strangers. For some reson mostly the guys, no matter what age, they start talking about IR dating and why some woman are doing that ( They have no clue about me, because they don´t know me.) Today the busdriver from my work to home got somehow just to talk with me and started talking why all those nice german ladies are crushing into color. I did not know how to answer and I had to get out of the bus too. But I never know what to say in such a moment. I mean I date IR and I am not hiding it, but when stranger are talking to me like that in a negative way..... I just don´t know how to handle that. I mostly stay nice and say not to much.
Are the men asking questions about IR couples in a racist tone and are there lots of IR couples in the city you live in? If there is a trend going on where you live, these strangers could just be speaking on what they are observing. Still, IMO its kinda inappropriate to ask such questions of a stranger, considering they don't know you're dating preferences.
You should just politely stand up for yourself. No need to be offensive but just politely say " I disagree. Who people choose to date is no business of mine and this not 1930's Nazi Germany anymore and people can be with whoever makes them happy".
