Susan Boyle (Babe, I expected *better* from ya...)

We *all* vividly recall:

Ennyroad....I was *seriously* expecting her to be signed to a Classical Music imprint....as I thought (And still do) that the genre is more befitting of & more appropriate for her talent.


I even had a friend talk to one off his relatives who works for Deustche Grammphon to see what could be done..



Alas, she ended up going to Sony/BMG...


Okay, fine...fine.....


But the material they foisted upon her?

"WILD HORSES" (From The ROLLING STONES)

"THE END OF THE WORLD" (From SKEETER DAVIS)

But wait...it gets worse...

"YOU'LL SEE" (From MADONNA! What the HELL?!?)

"DAYDREAM BELIEVER" (From The MONKEES....Words FAIL me!)




To make a long story short, Sony/BMG, and the management/agent team of hers therein....if this continues as is...are on their way to making her nothing more than a Flavour Of The Month...that is sure to be all washed up very, very soon.



I hate to see that happen.


Though the breakdown she *did* have...well, mebbe it was just in advance of her career being derailed....which just MIGHT hapen ...IF this current (mis)handling of her career doesn't change.



Note to Sony/BMG:

Please...PLEASE consider...seriously.....moving Ms. Boyle to your MASTERWORKS Classical Imprint and have her record opera & clasical standards originally done by renowned folk like Leontyne Pryce, Maria Callas, Beverly Sills, Grace Bumbry, and even Marian Anderson.

We BESEECH you.....



...before you irrevocably ground a gifted talent into the dirt.
