They're playing in the Euro 2008 quarterfinals at 2:30pm tomorrow. Netherlands is a very strong team, let's see how Russia does! It's the first time that Russia made it to the quarterfinals since 1991! Ole! Ole!

 

I really commend Guus Hiddink on bringing Russia this far. They've been more than impressive, despite having a roster with a blatant dearth of big name players. But for them, it isn't about name recognition. Team play is what matters and that couldn't have been more evident in their total domination of Sweden a few days ago.

But unfortunately, i'm rooting for Holland in this one. Their style of play is reminiscent of my favorite club team - Arsenal - and for that reason, i'm rooting for them to go all the way.

 

Never say never. Germany was playing o bad pretty much the whole last year and I thought Portugal may finish them in a heartbeat but we made it.
Just like in the World Cup 2 years ago against Argentina. They were the secret favorite of many people but lost.
So I think Russia can make it.
The fact that they made it that far which they didnt manage for more than 15 years will definitely give them optimism and power to give their best.

 

Russia and their fans are just bullies. Hope they lose. Clearification:The racist fans of Russia that is.

Damn...them Russians were good!Never seen a team outplay Holland like that! This tournement is throwing so many suprises - wont be anymore predictions from me.

 

It would be sooo cool if Russia won the Eurocup. They have some great guys in the team

4) Netherlands sucks donkey dick....

My bet is on # 4

#1 cannot be correct because Russia simply sucks
#3 Cannot be correct because nobody wins 3-1 by luck

Leaving us with #2 and #4.

# 2 certainly has a large chance of being accurate, However number 4 stands a greater chance of being true...

If they really sucked they wouldnt be where they re at now.
Remember each time has to qualify to be allowed to take part on the Eurocup and Russia did that.Since 1991 they havent made it that far as far as Im informed.So their team this time must be somewhat good.

 

yeaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh! they did it! Nobody was predictiong they're gonna be better than Netherlandes, cause it is a strong team! OMG you wouldnt believe what a crazy night was here! Everybody went out on the street and and just celebrated the winning!
