So the big Super Bowl is coming up February 4th and I was just curious what people usually do when the Super Bowl comes around. To me, it's like a holiday and I look forward to the gatherings and food that comes with the day.

It's exciting and I'm always eager to see what companies will be spending their millions on for their 30 second commercials. Not long ago we had the 'nipplegate' scandal w/ Janet and Justin Timeberlake so hopefully this year brings many new memories and experiences.

What kinds of foods do you viewers enjoy having on a day like Super Bowl? For me, I just love having hot wings and imported beer during games like these. So, with this year's lineup of teams to go head-to-head for the title, who will it be? [IMG] the Colts or [IMG] the Bears ?

    GO COLTS!

If ya dont know why my name is PeyBackTime 8818 its because of the colts.

Peyton Manning has a charity called the PEYBACK foundation (instead of PAYback its PEYback since his name is PEYton...get it? lol). and Peyton's jersey is 18 and Marvin Harrison his top wide receiver is number 88. So 18 and 88. Peybacktime 8818.

My whole family are BIG Colts fans and we got one more win to get. Glad to see 2 black coaches reach the super bowl with tony dungy and lovie smith.

    GO COLTS!!!!

One more win to get Peyton!!!!

(P.S. for those of you who dont know, Lovie Smith is married a white woman and they showed her sitting with him in the crowd on TV when the colts played the chiefs in the first round playoff game. They showed him kissing her after the bears won on sunday, she's really thick but SEXY! So yea Lovie is gettin his IR on...)

I just glad to see two black head coaches make it to the superbowl and one win it. Years ago and even now most people used to think that black coaches did not have the innate intelligence to lead a professional team to a championship. I would really love to see Tony Dungy win this one because of the death of his son.

Yeah?! I bet! It was very exciting on television so I could only imagine what the game was like up-close-and-personal. With all thise Superbowl madness and holiday-like celebrating I would've thought more people would post in this thread.

I thought the game was amazing. It definitely started to lose some of it's excitement towards the end of the 3rd quarter but it was a great battle from the start. The halftime show was decent (maybe because I'm not much of a Prince fan, although I love his guitar solos) and the commercials were O.K. I was looking for something more unique in them that I usually see and I didn't. Many of the commercials were based on plots and situations that had nothing to do w/ the product they were selling. It was just an attention-getter.
