'Super Tues' proved that Sen. Barack Obama has much wider appeal with all voters across America than Hillary Clinton. He won in states where Afr-Ams are a very small -- or nonexistant -- portion of the population. Big ups to Barack. Also, he won in all areas of the country. However, the fight goes on.... Obama, as expected, won his home state of Illinois, as well as 12 others: Missouri, Colorado, Georgia, Alabama, Connecticut, Minnesota, Delaware, North Dakota, Idaho, Kansas -- where his mother is from -- Alaska and Utah. Barack Obama may also have won New Mexico. The results are incomplete right now. The Kid Rasta 8)
Re: Super Tues: Barack Obama Wins 13 Out of 22 States even if the man doesn't win.. he's probably coming along farther than any other african-american, in political history, running for the presidency... notice.. i said probably... winning states like North Dakota and Utah are very impressive indeed
Barack Obama is just as much white as he is black, yet we call him african-american. I guess that's because Af-Am genes are dominant and his looks identify more with Af-Ams? He is 1/2 white 1/2 black.
I'm sorry, that last comment was off topic but.. Yeah, I'm glad he's winning all these states. Overall, he has a long shot of winning but it's nice to see people are showing some love regardless of his heritage.
stop nitpicking you know, and I know..if the man walks down the "wrong" street, he'll be called the N-word, along with black followed by an assortment of other choice terminology... therefore...it would be safe to say that, in the struggle, he would identify with black people moreso than white.
I am more impressed with Obama winning Missouri and Connecticut, where Hillary was leading and heavily favored respectively. I am actually very impressed with how he has run his campaign overall, except for giving illegals free driving licenses, which I don't agree with at all.
According to reputable presidential historians, all the nominees and eventual presidents from both parties have all won the state of Missouri. If they are to be believed, Obama has history - pardon the pun - on his side. Whats more, many of the upcoming primary states have large black populations such as Virginia, D.C and Louisiana. I've been impressed with Senator Obama all through and hope he rides this wave all the way to Pennsylvania Avenue on the 20th of January 2009.
