I really commend Cheerios for doing a sequel to this. Gracie is so adorable! I bet racist people are FURIOUS! LMAO! First One Second One
I commend Cheerios, too. We live in what can be an ugly world. It's little things like this commercial that deliver a message more people need to hear. Love is love. Love comes in all forms, big and small, black and white. More people need to understand that what they think matters nothing to the people who take charge of their own happiness.
Those with an issue about it must be in an isolated bubble of their own making if that is the kind of stuff that ruffles their feathers. Whenever I come across stupidity around such subject matters as interracial relations I smile and think of how bitter it must make the folks who whine about it. Its not going away, this isn't the 1800's. Meanwhile I will keep enjoying my Honey Nut and Banana Nut Cheerios.
Those banana nut Cheerios are crazy good! Nothing beats the multigrain Cheerios IMO though I have 2 boxes in my cupboard at all times
Yep, Banana Nut is my favorite personally, followed by Honey Nut. Never tried the multi-grain though. I always think its going to taste like those multi-grain breads on the supermarket shelves. Might have to give it a try however and see if it is good as you say.
Lol they definitely aren't "grainy" like those weird breads with a million seeds and stuff. The multigrain Cheerios are actually sweet (not as sweet as honey nut Cheerios, but sweet none the less). I could probably live on cereal, and that one is a staple in my house. Two thumbs up :smt023 :smt023
A guy from MSNBC got fired because he said right wingers hate the commercial which is the truth. In response some "right wingers" sent IR photos of themselves. Those people don't know liberals made them free to date whoever they want.
That commercial and the Budweiser commercial with the puppy and the Clydesdale horses was also good. Its message was about friendship. It was very moving.
ROFL, this was what I was wondering whenever I see multi-grain on the box, glad to know its not like the seedy bread and will give it a try. :smt023
I don't know why, but ignorantass racist people (black or white) just make me laugh......lol. It's like they dint have anything else to do but worry about those who have found true love...
This is especially true of older conservatives, especially in the South. Yes, things have gotten better over the few decades not all right wingers are opposed to IR relationships but for the most part, the staffer who made that tweet hit the nail square on the head.
The results of a poll from Mississippi taken less than three years ago: http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/pdf/PPP_Release_MS_0407915.pdf I think that conservative southern White voters are probably way more opposed to interracial marriage than any other demographic group in the country. It would be interesting to see similar polls from other races, though.
:smt043 You're going to get in trouble around here. http://www.ocweekly.com/2012-02-16/...roger-brown-mark-mchenry-landmark-steakhouse/
That is so true take Deneen Borelli she is married to a WM and think the Trayvon Martin killing is not racially motivated.
Are the banana nut Cheerios also multi-grain? That would be awesome. Otherwise I will just have to buy both and mix them.
I don't think they are, but I'm not 100% sure. They have multigrain peanut butter cheerios (not a huge PB fan though so I haven't tried them), and when I was at the store yesterday I saw this. Multigrain AND chocolate!? Don't mind if I do Honestly, mixing is a great idea! You could mix the multigrain dark chocolate cheerios with the banana nut...:smt023.
