hello all, I just sign up here and curious as to where it might take me....I want add a pic but I don't see where to upload one, any suggestion

If you want a profile picture and avi - go to your profile and on the left hand, you have a menu to add profile pic or avi. You can upload directly from your computer.
If you want to post as picture of yourself in a thread, you will have to first have a photobucket account or the likes. Then, when you are creating a post, you can use the icon that looks like a postcard (its above the writing area). There you can copy in the url to your picture.
