Everybody knew who the original Panthers were...they were from the communities, and had a history of involvement in various churches and organizations.

They didn't just pop up out of the blue,like these creatures used to destroy the legacy of the real Panthers.

MANY Black groups(and other Progressive organizations) were actually started from the ground-up..... by the CIA( or their predecessors),

The Nation of Islam for example....and now..the New Black Panthers.

When you are aware of Counter-Intellegence tactics,you'll be able to spot that game.

Bullshit. If a person is born a U.S. citizen then you are entitled to all the rights that citizenship entails. Anything else is un American and gives those who serve an "elite citizens" status. That's a quick way to start a dictatorship.

I would never stomp on the flag, but if others wish to do so, it's their constitutionally protected right to do so. And, given this country's treatment of certain minorities, I understand it. I just think there are better ways to accomplish their goals. But, that's what makes this country, as fucked up as it is, one of the best nations to have ever existed. Our symbols should never be more important than our ideals. Let me state this again but it's just that important; our symbols should never be more important than our ideals.

This is why the military was put under the control of the executive branch (civilian authority). Military thinking, by nature demands unquestionable order. And it has to for it to function. But, having rights and the ability to freely exercise those rights, by nature, demands a constant questioning of order. Placing the military above the average citizen is the beginnings of those rights being eroded.

Furthermore, the only thing a person can be charged with when burning the flag (or anything else for that matter) is starting a fire without a permit. It's been constutionally protected free speech since the late 60's.

Anything else anyone posts to the contrary is patently false.

I read the first link, he was charged with not properly disposing the flag.

Also the flag was public property, not his which is what got him in trouble.

The only accepted destruction of the American flag is to take an old flag(folded)to the local VFW lodge and hand it over to the person in charge where it will be ceremoniously burned.
Stomping on Old Glory in this country is disrespectful. VERY DISRESPECTFUL. Liberties, free speech, and rights are stomped on, too. There has to be a clear definition of what freedom of speech , liberties and right are. Like the bible, these, too, can be perverted.
