MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. — Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger’s night of bar-hopping in a central Georgia college town ended with a new allegation against him after a 20-year-old college student told police he sexually assaulted her in a nightclub.
The two-time Super Bowl winner already faces a lawsuit from a woman who claims he raped her in 2008 at a Lake Tahoe hotel and casino, an allegation he strongly denies. Roethlisberger has not been charged in either case.

    White boys can rape too?

Why was Kobe almost charged right away for rape and Ben not charged in two cases?

Because the Eagle County DA's office was run by a bunch of yokels who thought that they were going to make it big by putting Kobe on trial.

I don't know much about these accusations against Big Ben, so my only comment here is that it is incredibly stupid for pro athletes or any other high profile celeb to go around fucking any strange woman who so much as winks at them. There are way too many liars, scammers and psychopaths out there.

Agreed! These types of women make the rest of us look bad, but unfortunately, these women are out there and time and again, these celebrities should be more careful with who they fraternize with.

That being said, I guess only time will tell, and I'm sure at least some of these accusations have truth to them, but it's unfortunate that the few spoil it for the ones that have legitimately been raped.

That's what people in Atlanta are saying. People are really mad about this. Even the radio stations are devoting their shows to talk about this.

    Agreed, m8..

I was always of the opinion (Both in this incident as well as Kobe's fiasco) that these 'starfuckers' were/are only showing any interest in these celebs.....just to, as someone once succinctly opined, 'fuck their press clippings'. (That's as in lookin' for a sugar daddy who's a soft touch for a pretty face [and other [parts of the femme fatale anatomy...])

The basic scenario, IMHO, is that....after one mighta made a play for the other (in this instance, she makes a play for he), after the 'lovin''....when she's out lookin' for some, uh, remuneration (for want of a better word)...and he says no...then she, the woman scorned, cries rape..

Not being cynical or bitter about anything, here; But it *is* what I consider to be the REAL DEAL....Just my tuppence, m8's...

    'Nuff Said!!

Final decision on Roethlisberger case coming Monday
    l

    By Christian Boone

    The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

The district attorney reviewing the case against Ben Roethlisberger will reveal Monday whether he plans to prosecute the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback.

"The investigation, interviews and report in the Roethlisberger matter have been completed and reviewed," said Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit District Attorney Frederic D. Bright in a statement announcing Monday's 2 p.m. press conference.

Bright received the case from Milledgeville police and the GBI Tuesday night. As first reported by the AJC, their final report did not include a second interview with the All-Pro quarterback.

A 20-year-old Georgia College & State University sophomore reported an alleged sexual assault March 5 and police questioned Roethlisberger that night. At that point the quarterback indicated he would return to Georgia for a second interview with police and the GBI but soon changed his mind.

    I agree to an extent....

However, they're also more likely to attract psychotic people who will lie to extort money from them.
