Speaking of FACEBOOK.....

...I also happen to be a part of the Linkedin community.

Introduced there by a colleague & pal, scriptwriter & producer ("Hollywood") Hoolihan Reeves (I'm using his nom de plume out of respect for his privacy.)

Ennyroad, I just established a profile there, and noticed something a tad unnerving...and to tell ya th' truth...more than a bit angering..



In the "People That You Might Know" section, I've seen profiles from some former co-workers (From Cleveland) that I do NOT care to hear from anymore.


For the record that ratio of folks I did not care for whilst I was living & working there for 16 years (1981-1997) is about 85%.

Here's the thing....they all knew of my dating lifestyle...and MOST of them (All races & both genders) were VERY negative (and more than a little hostile) in their opinions towards it..

Pretty much on a par with somebody named Josephine Hailey Darlene Johnson..

And ONE of them....even tried to take matters into HER own hands!

By revving up their auto and attempting to run me down one night before they left the services of said employment!



Yes, SHE...A Sista....was one of the people in that "People You Might Know" area.





Here's the thing I wanna query about:

I know it sounds the epitome of naiivete, but I *must* ask....are these individuals perhaps canoodling around with said Linkedin site...or even Google...and assuming that MY profile is THE profile of THE fella that WAS their former colleague? And NOW? They're looking to "re-touch bases" with Yours Truly? NOW?


Because they, seriously, have no way of knowing that THAT MDB *is* in facty THE MDB that they once worked with...

Even if they DID know that I spent almost all of my furloughs out of the country....

Do they HAVE that kind of ability...without any kind of blocking on MY part there?







And in case ya wanna know.....I've ignored & erased all but ONE of those folks that *did* show up on my home page there.

Stop and think about it.....If I left you guys without so much as a goodbye or an acknowledgement of ANY of you all that time ago....What the HELL makes you even entertain the notion that I would want ANY of you to EVER show up into my life again?

ESPECIALLY with *ALL* the deep-seated racial hatred for ME, my INTERRCAIAL DATING LIFESTYLE, and even (And ESPECIALLY) my INTERRRACIAL PARENTAGE as well?




The REST of you here at WWBM...you know you are more than welcome.

In conclusion:

If any of you former colleagues out there (Those that showed up on my Linkedin page, as well as those that have not..) are reading this, you know who you are, let me tell you one thing, and please, p;ass this note on to your Bruthas and Sistas, as well as the Appalaichan West Siders, and anybody else that I left behind 13 years ago:


I don't owe you a thing.

Not now.

Not ever.

always thought the people you might know thing was linked to friends several of your other friends have, your where youve lived and worked history, groups youve joined etc

i ignore it, its not like theyve requested you as a friend

 

With only 3 exdceptions - out of the six - NONE of the folks in people you may know on Linkedin ever knew each other....they've never even met.....

It's being ignored.

And even if it were on, say, Facebook, not only would it be ignored...but blocked as well...


Period.
