Southern WW More Predisposed to IR?

Agreed....racism is everywhere...of course it's all relative. If any of our great-great grandparents were alive today...they'd have a difficult time believing how far we've come.

Don't let the Yanks fool you....they've got some serious bigots up there as well.

 

yah, bigots are everywhere. racism comes in all colors and all parts of the country. it just sux, dude.

and you know, it's good to hear you talk about how far we've come...i have a minor in african american studies, and in so many of my classes, i had to repeatedly hear about how we haven't come very far, and racism is still just as bad as it's all been....yada, yada, yada. it used to piss me off so bad...granted racism is still alive and well, and will probably always be alive and well...we've come a looooong way. especially if you recall the story of Emmit Till which happened in the mid-1950s, and now just a few short years later you have interracial relationships popping up everywhere. we have quite a ways to go, but we have come a long way, considering.

 

Sort of like Mt. Everest...climbing up to the 20,000 ft. mark at base camp is progress....the remaining 9,000 ft isn't far but difficult....we just need to get our IR oxygen tanks and keep climbing!

dont think the southland is as most say any longer. Dallas, SA, Houston, charlotte, nashville all see lots of IR couples, not to mention Atl, Jacksonville, orlando, charleston, Austin.

check out interracial matcher, lots of whites looking for dates with blacks

 

Just wanted to add my two cents worth. I live in the south. I see more and more white women with black men. Its growing more than you think. No its not everywhere or the dominant scene, but you bet they are hooking up. More and more out in public and TONS of low key rendevous.
