SMDH, she needs anger management, what an embarassment

I saw this - wondered what the heck set this chick off? She really laid into the other player! :-|

SMDH indeed. W.T.F. is her malfunction exactly.

That was a malicious attack on another person and wholly unacceptable.

Talk about a lack of self discipline.

I've been at a soccer game where there was a fight and a player arrested during the game. Of course the game ended right then.

Tensions run high for various reasons. Trash talking or maybe a coach or scout at that game that she wanted to impress .....won't be impressed after this though.

I have to say a little unnecessary roughness and aggressiveness in a game is usually a bit exciting. :p It doesn't usually end in a fight or arrest though.

Refugee why are you calling her that. :(

Her soccer future is pretty much done. This isn't men's ice-hockey. Soccer players very rarely fight (maybe some headbutts here and there in the professional big pressure games), but at a casual HS game with females at the helm? Never. She's a ticking-time bomb.

If she can't take an aggressive tackle, she's in the wrong game. Maybe she should try varsity-level ping pong. That being said, it's not a justification, but she could have been verbally taunted out of earshot of everyone else. Remember Zidane's infamous headbutt when that guy made foul remarks to him on the pitch? Granted, the acceptable response is to do something slight/subtle back, not throw the opposing player on the ground and start throwing haymakers.

I know right. I think a few people from here might need to attend a soccer game and check it out. There is lots of aggression, trash talk and yeah differences and fights. Just not to that degree where someone ends up with a police record.

People think soccer is all about taking dives and faking. Let them try running up and down the field for 90 minutes and colliding with someone running at full speed.

Football without pads. Gotta be smart and strategic to play.

I love it......wish it was more popular here in the US.

Agreed, pause about half a second just before 0:15. It looks more like she simply just fell on her own because her feet may have gotten on top of the soccer ball while it was still moving. The girl in the #4 shirt was running right on the white line.

Unfortunately, this gives the commentators on youtube a reason to bash/generalize all black women. They all aren't like this.

Edit: Doesn't really matter though, we'll forget this topic existed eventually.

You wouldn't know that it wasn't, judging from the crowds at my friend's soccer bars in St. Louis and Miami. I think it's finally catching on here.

I'm not for giving a kid a criminal record.

    Fingerprints.
    Mugshot
    Gotta see a judge
Is there going to be stuff like a probation officer?
Is this kid gonna have to sit in juvie?

How will that improve sportsmanlike conduct?

Maybe she'll meat some nice drug dealers or gang members to befriend in her new environment.

I'm not against anybody that wants her to be handled like a criminal. I just wouldn't do so

I could be completely wrong, but I assumed being arrested is different than being charged? Is she having to do the mug-shot/fingerprint just for being arrested?? I did not know. I always thought one can be arrested but if no charges are filed, they have to release you after a certain time.

I think if she sits before a judge, if it's her first time, she will get it expunged or probation. Def not Juvie. But if she is a habitual assaulter, then perhaps she needs a lesson that her behavior goes far beyond unsportsmanlike conduct.

If she hasn't done it before they will probably put her in a diversion program. Get counseling stay out of trouble and they will not give her a record.
