Arkansas attorney general plans investigation into oil spill following pipeline rupture

    http://www.foxnews.com/us/2013/04/0...estigation-into-oil-spill-following-pipeline/

Arkansas' attorney general on Tuesday asked ExxonMobil to preserve records pending a state investigation into a crude oil spill that, while small, has generated broader questions about the safety of cross-country pipelines.

Clean-up crews have recovered about 12,000 barrels of crude oil and water since a leak on Friday soiled a neighborhood in Mayflower, about 25 miles northwest of Little Rock, and almost threatened nearby Lake Conway.

These red states need to experience first hand why bending over for the oil industry is a bad idea.

Exxon won't even be forced to pay compensation to the homeowners whose property they ruined.

true, Exxon has pumped so much money in the local politicians pockets.

They have deregulated and written laws to protect Exxon.

The people will get paid for damages, but it will be pennies on the dollar.

Here are some maps of major pipelines across the USA.....

Just Red States and not Blue bending over?

Tell that to Obama's State Department's official stance on it: "XL Pipeline Is Harmless to Environment".

Obama was initially against authorizing the Keystone pipeline. It's been Republicans who've pressured him to allow that pipeline to run through the heart of this country for the last 5 years, because of the supposed jobs it would create.

You can't bang on the POTUS or his administration for capitulating on something originally advocated by the opposing party.

So the oil companies have the Republicans bending over and the Republicans have Obama and the Democrats bending over. Nice circle jerk.

Tar Sands oil is hard to clean up so unless there would be more disasters there is got to be more regulations. Heard on on Racheal Maddow last night.
