So long, Farewell

I joined this site three days a go or so.

The one thing that supposedly brings people together on this site is that they are dating people of another race. I fnd that the reality here is more like a group of people from a particular social demographic who happen to be dating IR, and are hypersentitive to anything that they deem to be too close to "racial stereotypes", or anything that dosen't fit their world view.

It is at once perplexing and amusing that members of a website with a name like whitewomenblackmen.com is hypersentative of anything thing some one says that seems to confirm a stereotype (gender, racial or a combination thereof).

I joined up initially with the intention of asking real life questions that I couldnt ask people I knew - either because they were slightly too personal, or because the people I was asking would have no idea of what I was talking about (i.e. asking WMs who form most of my closest friends and work colleagues).

Instead, what I found was (with the possible exception of a few), a clique of people with a fundamentally different world view, life experience and cultural norms. Furthermore, there seems to be a constant "siege" mentality where every post by a member who dosen't fit the "group think" is suspected of being a troll or a BW, WM masquerading as someone else.

I'm sure this works for you (and I see some of you have been here for a few years) - but its not something that I want to be part of, as I dont feel I have anything in common with the large majority of people here. I daresay, in real life, our paths would probably never cross.

There appear to be people with real issues here, and I am not sure whether to feel sorry for them, or mock them with their feeble attempts of using stick man arguments and ad hominen barbs.

I have far much better things to do than arguing on an online forum about petty things with hyper sensitive people who I will never meet.

Just not my thing, or my kind of people. Keep doing what works for you though.

I'm am the most opinionated person I know. Hell sometimes I like to argue just for the sake of arguing. I have found a few that agree with my views and a few that do not, but for the most part ALL (cept some cat who is way into his emotions) have been respectful of my views even if they do not agreee. While this site my claim as its foundation White women and the black men who love them, what I have found is just bunch of cool folk.

I loath group think but I don't see that here. What you say is group think may simply be contributed the dynamics of a small group. (wish there were more women and less men....like the club) You are the new person (as am I) you can either make your spot or leave...

...I see you have chosen to do the latter.
