You, come to think of it, the word "bunny" does have bit of a porn ring to it in light of the playboy logo. So maybe it would upset some women, I personally hadn't even thought of it until now. :smt077
I haven't heard it used outside of a ski resort before, seems very cute. My grandfather used to call me paleface all the time (he was Ojibwe). I thought it was funny - and I got as much sun as possible so I could be darker skinned like him! I was always paleface though, lol. I guess the green eyes give me away.
I can see it as a term of endearment, but it depends on whether "she" is comfortable with it or not. God bless the bunnies!!!
I don't see anything wrong with the Snowbunny term, but I will say this. I use another board similar to this, and saw 2 women using that name, and both were racist and dumb, saying BS they should not be saying, they both feel they react comfortably like they are both black.
Depends on the person...I remember an I/R couple I knew...the brotha refer to her as "white woman"..like "that's my white woman." He was being sarcastic and everyone knew it but strangers would turn their head or pretend they didn't notice. One of my co-workers lived with her white boyfriend, sometimes she'll call him "whiteboy"..I kidd you not. His name was Aaron but sometimes she called him whiteboy...he didn't seem to mind. Y'all noticing a pattern here? Minority membership has its privilieges.
