I've seen quite a few commercials on American television from gas/petroleum companies touting the safety of their operations (well, digging, etc) and their creations of "thousands" of jobs, while simultaneously hearing several politicians calling for the dismantling of government agencies (the EPA was on at least one's hit list)... and then a revelation.... http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=7391093n&tag=cbsnewsSectionContent.0 Contaminated foods are on the rise and the FDA says its short staffed already and can only check random samples of all the stuff they do test... Makes me wonder who has our backs? Can you honestly trust any industry to regulate itself without government intervention?
you really can't trust any of them including the government. It is like letting the fox guard the hen house.
