"The Boondocks" is returning with 2 reimagined seasons on HBO Max streaming service, along with the original 55-episodes: https://www.ign.com/articles/2019/0...imagined-seasons-on-hbo-max-streaming-service
Remember when we joked about we rarely ever see Rashida Jones onscreen involved with a black male? Hulu dropped these trailer for new upcoming series "High Fidelity" starring Zoe Kravitz: This probably the 1st time I seen Zoe Kravitz onscreen with a BM.
Lol I remember the movie version of this with John Cusack. My college roommate told me it reminded him of how much he hated movies about losers. Here's hoping Zoe comes off much better here lol
Freeform just renewed "Grown-ish" for a 4th season yesterday: https://tvline.com/2020/01/17/grownish-renewed-season-4-freeform/
Netflix just dropped the trailer today for that "Black Excellence" sitcom that has now been retitled "#blackAF":
Based on what critics are saying about #blackAF on Twitter, I'm not expecting this show to be good. But, I will still probably check it out. Also the episode titles are cringeworthy AF: Also Rashida Jones was trending on Twitter last night/Yesterday because of reverse colorism. Apparently some folks on Black Twitter had no idea that Rashida Jones is a mixed BW & that Quincy Jones is her Father. And colorism crybabies wish someone a non-mixed BW was playing the female lead.
After watching this clip, I think I'm in especially seeing it's only going to be 10 episodes in this upcoming 1st season compared to the 22-24 episodes a season in the original series.
I mean I watched it but that cause there use to be a lot less tv options and it was on times when I free time @ColiBreh1 Never loved it hopefully we get a good black male character lol.
Yeah, "That 70's Show" is show I should've watched in local syndication growing up during the 2000's but I just never got around to it probably because I was watching other sitcoms in syndication during that time. I slow-binged & caught up on "Scrubs" & "How I Met Your Mother" in the last several years, so I feel I might as well do the same with "That 70's Show".
Oh Damn Scrubs now that I was a show I watched a lot of back in the day and loved. Never got into How I met your mother though....
It was announced last month that new Boondocks seasons aren't happening: https://deadline.com/2022/02/the-boondocks-reboot-not-moving-forward-hbo-max-1234926801/
