I remember back in college I was working as a sales clerk to get thru college. At this time I only admired ww from afar and still do (later about that).

well one day a sumptous ww comes in with her flowing blonde hair. we began to chit chat because there was a handful of customers . well we ended trading numbers. nothing came to my mind because I was a real and still is a geek. this girl was super duper fine. she was in the military and she kind of favored britney spears as far as ass wise and on the level of beauty as sarah palin. so i didnot think she was into me.

well we hung out at her place and we had sex. she was great !!!! the problem was I was afraid of what society thought ( this was early 90's). thus i ended up not calling her. a friend of mine told me she was hurt but i was scared to say why i did what i did because it may have caused her more pain.

i regret that because she was a cool girl and it may not have lasted long because she was there on a temp basis but it could have been a wonderful three months. even in the past few years I have had trepidation. now that im divorced from a BW and Im in my early forties hopefully i can meet that good woman white or whatever. But 2day it would be nice to hook up and have a real thing with a ww.

have you guys had any regrets in life. not like this but just whatever

Man Good you lost a good thing. The 90's are as the same like every other decade it depends on how you handle dating a WW. Things were a lot tougher in the 50's and before in the US.

    I have a few regrets.

A few guys who I should've gotten with and some who I shouldn't have gotten with.

A job that would've been really cool had I taken up on the guys offer.

Unfortunately, I can't do things that I know I'll regret, cause I regret easily.

There are more, but those are the main ones that stand out.

    Ok on the regrets thread:

I should have married that sweet farm breed viking beauty who loved me to death like noone else did instead of that #$%@##....

I should have told that crazy but nice Polish chick to keep the baby instead of.....

I should have pursued atheltics hard core to the bone than fucken books. Damn I was so athletic...

I should have went to entertaiment rather than going to college, damn.

I have so many regrets in life but 4 is enough for now... oh well

I regret taking too long to decide what the hell I want to be, after college.

I regret not taking summer classes last summer.

i think living with regrets is just a complete waste of time...everything happens for a reason. nothing happens by accident; there is no such thing as Coincidence...!!!
shoulda, woulda, coulda...i prefer to deal with the here and now and make the most of what i've got.

It took me a long time to realize this fact, but I feel the same way. I was just thinking today, as a matter of fact, how different my life would be if I had stayed in my first marriage and if I had stayed working at the Field Museum that until recently, I regretted leaving every single day.

Had I not done those things when I did them, I wouldn't have been on the path that took me to having my amazing daughter and meeting my best friend who turned me into my creative side and made me realize that movies are where I want to be.

Funny how life happens just the way it's supposed to...even if you think it isn't. :smt023

So, to answer your question, I've done some pretty impulsive things in my life, but looking back, I'm happy to be where I am in my life even if I am broke. :smt081

that's exactly it. we leave one path to go on another. it's not always going to be good, but we learn from it, grow from it, and wouldn't be the people we are today without it.

I'm trying to move foward in my life. And regrets are only going to hold me back. So I have just put them all behind me. If it didn't happen, I didn't jump on something, there was obviously a reason why, even if it wasn't clear at the time.

that's it exactly...don't live by the coulda, woulda, shoulda rule...live by it's mean to.

    This is very true.

Life can throw some curves at you that, at the time its happening, it may seem devistating but later on you realize you became wiser because of that experience. You are very correct.

This is why I always keep a positive attitude when LIFE happens because later on, I will realize why I went through that and how stronger that experience had made me.

    Great post Tarshibear

LOL. damn tirkah LOL. DAMN You and your memory.

I had forgot about her. I had a chance to reflect on a lot of things and Im glad I did some things and I wish I would not have done others.

I believe having regrets is a good thing to a point. But to dwell on them toooo long is bad. I believe having regrets means you have maturity because you may regret having treated someone badly and you wish you had not done it.

you can learn from your regrets and not repeat stupid decisions.

I regret that I type something and tirkah remembers every damn thang. LOL:smt043
