Native Americans age faster than an apple core.

A 30 y/o indian woman looks like she's ready for the boneyard.

On the subject on Native americans...Black people say the dumbest shit.

What is the benefit of sitting this one out?

Just out of curiosity what do we gain by sitting out the July 4th celebration

We celebrate July 4th because WE FOUGHT AND DIED IN THAT WAR. Blacks have fought in every single American war...hell there were blacks that teamed up with Andrew Jackson (I shit you not...I didn't believe it either), Union soldiers and the Tennesse militia to beat down British soldiers intent on conquering New Orleans during the War of 1812 (of course the Treaty of Gent...or Ghent had been signed but...).

If you don't want to celebrate George Washington, Paul Revere, Robert Morris etc...at least honor Crispus Attucks and other blacks that, like in so many wars, fought for a nation that would never fight for them. Honor the sacrifice of your forefathers and know that it was they that helped provide freedom for ALL AMERICANS and allowed this nation to become a beacon for all the immigrants that have arrived since. (If only multi-generational Americans and recent immigrants understood our contributions and how it affects them).

Listen I know I will be eating and shooting fireworks with my son. I am a US citizen and I love this country despite the glaring flaws but then what country is perfect. I read through most of the posts and it is good to see other peoples perspectives on things.
