I LOVE my hometown of Cairns, Australia. Right by the Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef. Hot and humid all year round and a couple of months of heavy rains and cyclone possibilities in the summer. Oh how I miss it. Here are some pictures from my flickr account, I have taken these over probably the past five years:

This is the beach right beside the road to Port Douglas, just up from the nudist beach where I accidentally found myself earlier that day

Cairns looks great! I always wanted to go there. I'm sure I would love it
