    Yeah Chesapeake! lol

I don't like them either, although I drove on the Bay Bridge in SF and I was scared cause it collapsed in '89. When I go back to NY, I drive on the bridges, if not, I take the Midtown Tunnel, but nonetheless - fuck bridges! LOL

the national "mall" (still haven't figured out why they call it a mall)
the smithsonian is/are the buildings lined on both sides of the "sand" (gravel) football fields between the capital building and the washington monument.

    That is funny...lol

I guess it's like how we call it "LAS" Angeles, when it's spelled Los.

Only place I visited in DC was: [IMG]

    Then it was called Dream...lol

i don't fool with the big clubs here. yea, love was dream and was dc live back when it was downtown. it's just a big poser spot. h20 also, which used to be downtown as well. not my scene. lol

love is actually in a hood, and its around the corner from the original BET studios.

That was just a one time thing, cause my boy used to work there. I felt so short that night. Everyone was so tall (and I mean both men and women). Meth was there performing. I wasn't sure of the racial vibe there, but it turned out aiight.

the big clubs here are majority black. for the most part, the race thing is ignored. but that is really only to say it means a lot of people are talking under their breath and behind people's back. but ultimately it is not a big deal, just that "haters wanna hate... lovers wanna love... and some of those fools, want none of the above..."

    LOL!

I've always gone to all Black clubs all my clubbing life (from 15 on) and never had a problem (except once when Jam Master Jay was alive and I saw him at some club. I was with 2 WGs and someone told us to go home and that we didn't belong there), but since I've never been there (the club and to DC), I wasn't sure of the vibe. It was just me and my best friend (tall 6'3 brutha)....

I talked to one dude there and when we went to exchange #'s, I saw some chick on his screensaver. I said, nah, I'm good...lol

This is the place where they make the fermented herring that has been banned in a lot of countries in Europe due to the foul smell it releases if a can is opend. Its DEATH! Smells for DAYS! I leave when my mother open one of these.
