getting together source drawings for my Broadcast Design final project: zombie movie intro. It's like the opening credits sequence.

So I'm drawing my peeps as zombies. It's quite fun.

The originals look far better than these rough mobile photos, but I can't show off the good ones until I get them scanned. They shall be scanned, though, since I need high quality images to work with in After Effects. I've also got Terrence's removed arm drawn, as well. haha. Gonna be an interesting movie opening.

YO!!! I see character designs for Resident Evil 6 and L4D3, right there. The first zombie will be a sub-boss zombie called the "Stretcher", because he looks like he could be a lanky character. He can extend his body parts, like Dahlsim from Street Fighter. He can also extend his hair and capture you with it, and pull you toward him, like that other dude from L4D. :smt023 That's so badass.

danke chica. The whole movie intro is gonna be gory :D The rest will be cartoonified, though. Imagine these images moving through opening credits with vector blood and scratchy text...that's essentially the look I'm going for. Black, white, and red.

rpeg - I mean no disrespect, but I certainly hope those are really yours. I only mention it because it appears we've had at least one poser posting things that didn't belong to him at one point.

I hope you're not offended by the comment. I only say it because it's lovely work, though frankly I like your website better. The intro page is fantastic and reminds me of ideas I've had for my own, though mine weren't as cool and I've got to hook up with a programmer friend of mine to help me with the coding before I can get my stuff up.

Yeah, it's mine although I hesitated to reveal it on this forum. None the less, it's my work. Maybe I've shown too much.

so exciting...finally got a couple videos uploaded! Doesn't seem like my funny commercial is going to upload, since it's a huge file size, but if it does I'll post it later.

    reese's commercial

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cWMrY1_we4g

This was super difficult. After only having 5 weeks to study and learn a new program, and after having to struggle with another commercial during that time, as a surprise on midterm class day our teacher told us we had to make a 15 second commercial for one of three products/companies (which she provided) within the 4 hour class period. I picked reese's, since it seemed the most fun, and used Illustrator CS4 to make the still image I then animated in After Effects CS4.

What actually took me longest was finding an adequate song for the bg, and in the end I settled on MJ...one of my favs. Oh, and the crappy song edit was made in Sound Forge, which I looooathe. -_-

    teaser of my snowman animation:

The whole short film (around 1:30) should be finished in about 2 weeks from yesterday. If it's not, then I've failed the class. lol Everything's together, though...lighting, textures, modeling...maybe will make a christmas tree, but aside from that all that's left is the animation, sound editing, and video editing to bring it all together, with perhaps some cheap snow effects to tie it all together (thanks to AE for throwing in generic snow!)

edit: someone tell me, did the links work? I can't
    tell. -_-

If you mean because it took me two seconds to find your website afterward, then maybe...but if that's all it is, then just host them on a site like hotlinkfiles.com instead and it's less traceable.

I'd rather encourage you to share more, though! You do great work, and it seems people have gotten tired of only seeing my crap in here. It'd be nice to have more artists contributing. :) I feel so alone on this board sometime! lol

P.S. I should mention the only reason I checked the site was out of curiousity/skepticism.

Well, if you are interested in viewing my Bachelors work...
It is in German or French... So for the english speakers not really good, but hope you will still enjoy.
It was a lot of work and a inovative conceprion for the rising issue of decreaseing tv viewers, to catch them online....
We sold this to arte.tv webpage of the european channel ARTE.
    On the Tv channel ARTE.tv:

I don't know why I'm sharing this but oh well, here you go: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAHmlCjJE1M

I guess I had wanted to keep my privacy on this forum but that's out the window. The brief scenes with me are from when I had an afro. I no longer have one. It's a beard. Thus my avatar on this forum.

It's an interactive visualization piece that is responding the "impulses" of the musical piece.

    interesting work.
and dont worrie, we wount stalk you now. ;)
we all are just sharing your artistical talents and experiances.

unfortunetly i was not able to explore that scene when i was in LA.
we do have a lot going on here as well though.

do u record the pieces with the destortion or create them later on
when editing? they sound like editing work, very accurat.
but i guess it might be a mixture of both.
is this piece containing compositing? or did u record all this
with stop motion? it looks like there is physical energy behind it, like
    magnetic impulses.
i have only worked once in this free artistical way, so i dont have
    many experiances with it.
sorry if i bother you with these questions, im just curious how
    its put together...
nevertheless it might be your personal way of artistic work and secret :p
