Very sad. I think these BART employees sound out of control after this and the last shooting. I am confused they refer to him have a knife and one point an a gun at another.......which is it.......you are confused yet you shoot someone??!!

 

This is heartbreaking! C'mon, they shoot him over a goddamn fare??! He was fleeing because of the fare, why on earth shoot him? And why would he even stop and turn to shoot AT COPS over a bus fare?? It's not logical. The cops better find the spent casings from his alleged gun, otherwise this is murder in the first!

I felt so sad for the person crying on the tape...looked like it was maybe his friend who couldn't even get to comfort him in his dying moments. Its too much to even comprehend right now...

 

This shit is beyond belief. A young man shot in the back running away from the fuckin' pigs. Only in America :smt067

A couple years ago...

A cop's dash-cam showed him running over a 15 y/o Black kid on his bike....He claimed the kid had just robbed a lumber yard.

He was caught in a lie because the guy at the yard said he saw the him ride by on his bike.

So the Cop climbed under the car and planted a gun on the boy....a gun that didn't even have the kid's prints on it.

They know they can kill us with no accountablility...that's why it happens.

It starts with us and spreads to everybody....

The cop that fired the shot must have been a white guy. Anyways, tragic lapse of judgement from the cops. Hopefully they get life in jail or the death penalty.

 

I'm hearing that the kid they shot was a suspect in a murder a few days before in which a little girl was killed.

I am not condoning what happened here, I don't know what happened her.....but what I do know is that when cases like this happen all of a sudden the black community is up in arms about THEM killing US.

Yelling, screaming, marching, crying. "They shoot us like dogs" "Slavery robbed us" but we say nothing of how we act, how we conduct ourselves, how we relate to each other, our culture, our music, our community. We complain that they don't value black life, because WE don't value black life.

Each year the Negro kills the Negro. No marches? No speeches? Detroit, Atlant, DC, New Orleans, Compton, Little rock, Memphis, on and on and on. I don't know what happened to this kid and it is sad that a life is lost, but we need to stop the faux out rage and "black life" and look at ourselves........we don't value black life how can we expect anyone else too.

Why? From the information given, they've utilized lethal force as he fled. He may have died later on from his injury, but still that really reckless. Plus, the fleeing individual didn't even shoot a gun at them.

Actually, it would have been better if they've bumped him with the guard on the police car and then detained him.

 

What is most horrific to me is how they stand around, guns trained on him while he lies bleeding, twitching and dying on the ground. No one offers medical attention, tries anything to stop his bleeding but stand their holding their guns on him as though he is still a threat of some sort, if he ever was. This is beyond disgusting. This is not a shooting in the line of duty. This is murder and deserves criminal charges. Horrendous. I feel sick.
