I don't remember if i posted here all accents are nice .. from the English language Irish will be the best.. (sorry Tarshi didn't say Australian but living here for so long to me its not an accent anymore so i didn't count this ) been a while i talk to a friend on yahoo .. i miss the talks i was typing he was talking.. he is Irish..
Even though I grew up with them and dated men with them, I've always loved the NY accent. Some Southern accents are cool too. I like English accents (now don't ask me which one, cause I'm ignorant to differentiating) as well.
sexiest american accents are somethin with a drawl and hum... i luv to hear a woman fram nawlins say "baebeh'...". it works nice with atl'iens with "shawtae" or "thuh" (there). i can't fake tho, i luv my own area, big time!! i like to hear a chic up on here game that can still drop in some local vernacular. instant sexiness. on the foreign tip; i dig an aussie, central american, and caribbean accent.
I used to love when my ATL peeps called me shawty or back in the day when my NY peeps called me shorty too...lol
I just ADORE the NY accent. It makes me weak in the knees. :smt055 On the flipside, I always get comments on mine. I have a very deep and noticable Southern accent. Most of the words I say are drawn out. No matter what I do, I can never hide it. First thing everyone picks up on. And, I'm the only one in my family who sounds like this. :smt102
I do know a dude from Bmore who called me Shawtae..lol He moved to ATL so I can only imagine what his accent mixed with ATLs sounds like. Happy Friday to you Addy! Girl, use it to your advantage! I sound like I'm 15-18...lol
:smt081 Sometimes I do use it to my advantage. But it's mostly with my friends that I hide it as they pick on me about it. If I typed the way I sound ... Oh dear Lord, it would be strange :smt081
I'm sure its really cute. That would be funny to type out how you sound...lol I don't know how I'd be able to do that....lol I can fake out telemarketers if I wanted to. If they call for the lady of the house, I can lie and say, "She's not here", knowing I'm the lady of the house...lol I also play around and do cartoon voices and used to act like I'm a phone sex operator. One time, my boy and I played with my other boy and I acted like I was my boys niece. My other boy believed it...LOL Till this day, he never knew it was me.
Honey, you have to work that accent to your advantage. I didn't realize how much power it had until I saw how helpful many IRS agents and technical support guys were over the phone. Some of those guys didn't mind bending the rules to help me out with clients. Of course, I've been told that I sound like a phone sex operator too so that and the southern accent work like a charm.
