i have russian accent...wish i didnt have one lol...but there is no way i can get rid of it...was too old when moved to Canada :smt095
Too many black men speak like they have a ten pound weight tied to their tongue, don't like it at all.
Yea, I thought I should edit that after I posted it. I like "black" accents, but I'm also very picky about the "thickness" of them. It's hard to explain with my limited vocabulary. I don't want him to sound like he's got a cock in his mouth 24/7 or like he's uneducated.
The naive woman from small town Indiana act is bullshit. You express yourself like people I attended college with and I went to the one of the best universities in the world.
i know what you mean!!!!! even though i still live in Russia, i dont wanna have this accent when i speak english. so you mean after years living in Canada, you still have one??? hmm i thought it's possible to get rid of it in a few years.
LoL, okay. Anyway, that reminds me, guess what!! I've decided to go back to school!! I was talked into it by one of my friends on here and encouraged by a few others. I still have to get my GED first. I dropped out of highschool 1/4 through 10th grade. My last grade I actually completed was 9th. Yea, I did get a "college degree" in Astrology/Parapsychology, but that was through the mail. They didn't know/care if I had a GED or not. I just did it for fun because it's not really..."accredited", I guess, is the word. Yea, so anyway, I want to major in entrepreneurship.
irish.. and aussie.. aaah, the aussie accent. And fijian! And the fiji-indian accent.. And.. ah.. there are so many. Basically, Most accents are sexy if there just enough to spice up. If you talk like a bogan, I'm not gonna stick around for that long... but some slang, sure. Same with local languages Can't stand folk from stockholm though, horrible swedish.. Or rural danish! Its SO bad. . And if it's norweigan, the westerners gets my knees all week, but the Oslo-accent kills me. Islandic is damn hot.
I hate italian accent when it's too heavy. Mine is not too heavy (they told me), but still I have it. Blah. I can't really understand the difference between american accents. I like my ex's one but he lived all his life abroad and lived in many places (Germany, Atlanta, Seattle, Anchorage), so I really don't know what's his accent :smt102. Usually I don't like African english, it's too difficult to understand, since I'm not even mother tongue (mother tongue or mother language???). I can barely understand what my Togolese friend says :smt102. British accent is nice but an american accent is always hot for me :smt054
I LOVE Italian accents, southern USA accents are so relaxing to listen to, I also love French accents. There's lost more but who has the time to list? lol
Hmm, I find almost all American accents sexy, especially like KnCA said, "a deep voice". I have a southern accent Kentucky/Florida, sort of a cross between Loretta Lynn and Scarlett O'Hara. I have worked on it since my teens so it's not as thick as it once was, except when riled (that's irritated to you Yankees) or when speaking to friends and family with the same accent. I do love the diversity of accents we have in the U.S. People are impressed that I can generally spot where they are from by their accent (sometimes they don't even realize they have one). For instance, Chicagoans or Pacific Northwesterners. People from other nationalities speaking English don't do it for me or other English speaking countries like U.K. I just find the American man to be the manliest sounding. Glad I live here.
