She's a dumb cunt. Glad she got dragged in her comments. I was trying to figure out where the fuck she was going with her tweet as if there was something more to it. Nope.
Yoooo, did you guys watch AHS Cult (American Horror Story Cult) last night? I'm just getting around to posting about it, I fell asleep because me and my girlfriend was watching it in the bed. Ryan Murphy, the creator just took a shot at feminism and some were of course upset about it online. You have to see it. The only thing missing was the racism part, but he dead on mocked these extreme feminist on the latest episode. Others didn't catch on to what he was doing, but some were pissed online.
I'm not in full agreement young lady in the first vid. I think it happens to a certain extent which I'd say is more about a huge ego, but that person can be rich, poor or somewhere in between. I feel it's more about the fact that the person is rich. Usually being wealthy goes hand in hand with being powerful/well-known/infuential. Many people in such positions (like Weinstein, this POS president and so on) are very much aware that they can use their wealth/power to get what they want in this case being sex with beautiful women. They also know that they're women out there who are very much willing to have sex with them for her own benefit. Likewise, they also know that in non-consensual cases... their wealth/power/influence can protect them, and in many cases keep the victim quiet.
I'm just sitting back. Watching this unfold. This is falling down a rabbit hole no one is really prepared for. Pretty soon, just asking a woman out will be deemed sexual harassment. There won't be need of any proof for sexual assault accusations. Just the woman's word (we're already seeing this on college campuses). Mark my words, this is going to turn into an impossible situation for both men and women. But, especially men. People think they know what goes on in Hollywood and that most of these women are innocent, starry eyed, girls next door. They're not. They're just predators of a different sort. A lot of them are more than willing to fuck for fame (or a whole lot less). They only start to feel bad when they don't achieve the level of fame they fucked for. What they don't take into account is all the sexual favors in the world isn't going to make up for a lack of talent and charisma. You still have to have "it."
But for the record. There is no doubt in my heart that Harvey is a piece of shit and that he abused his power. But I am not listening to people who already earned millions because of him before they come forward with their stories.
When the Anita Hill case was going on in the 90's, tensions between men and women were difficult enough. Men had to tread carefully with women because they thought differently than men. Men were oftentimes seen by women as incapable of showing their true feelings. They had to be someone else. Women were seen by men as game players and teasers. I have met many of these single women. And they were honest about their attractions to certain men. They were not at all attracted to me, a nice guy, because they've put me in the friend zone. They had a lot of men to choose from and there were a lot of women who wanted them. When the film The Color Purple came out, the black man was viewed as a sexually predatory maniac because of Danny Glover's portrayal of Mister and the scene where the white woman is having trouble with her car and she confuses the men trying to help her as attackers. As we are all adults, we know that there is a time and a place for everything. But it doesn't have to be a time to put up fences between us. We still have to be aware of the feelings of each other.
Another fact that was lost by Disney was that Pocahontas was not an aerobicized babe like the way she was portrayed in the film.
My dude preach Sex robots can't get here quick enough. It'll weed out a lot of the decent men who don't just follow orders. Then what are you left with? And notice how all of these victims are not woc That's why for me a lot of these arguments and revelations lose me. Its not equitable and weaves a very deliberate story. And like you said are we going to ignore the swaths of women willing to go through it to "make it" Its always sleezy when its not a George Clooney type. We've seen it our whole lives where identical advances are "gross" when dude is average or below but let it be someone who is "fine" and its perfectly ok. Suddenly rude and stalkerish behavior is either hot or attentive. So happy to be done with that part of my life
I have said this about some of the women coming forward as well. I mean Harvey did come out using the word consensual. I don't believe for one minute that in every case not one of these women willingly had sex with him. He got turned down every single time? Doesn't seem right, for him to have this confidence over and over again, he HAD to got with some of these ladies. He isn't a rapist, by their own accounts he PROPOSITIONED a lot of them. Only a few said he was forcing unwanted touching.
Alan and Albert Hughes didn't like the people of Hollywood(the head honcho and others). That is why they found out how satisfying it was to film in Europe making the film From Hell.
